VERY DANGEROUS, PLEASE DON'T BUY!!! I initially wrote a four star review for this item. Today my child touched the cord while the unit was on. She yelped and leapt back, and I came over to pick up the cord and found it was too hot to touch. The outlet is scorched. Photo included. Will return and complain, if you have one consider discarding or returning it before this or worse happens!

I was so looking forward to this. I recently had to sell my log cabin and am now living in an apartment. My cat & I were very homesick for our wood burning stove. Everything was perfect until I went to turn the heat and on. The loudest screeeeching noise came out of this thing.... I am so disappointed. Needless to say, I am returning it. I would keep it if only it didn't sound like a tea kettle on full steam blast.

I love the look of this fireplace and it does give off some decent heat which is why it's getting one star. Unfortunately the manufacturer did not use a high enough gauge wire in order to run this heater on its highest power mode without the wire getting burning hot I feeling as if it's going to melt. The fire looks realistic enough, it gives a very nice warm glow to the room and gives off some good heat but it's not worth risking my house being burned down because the manufacturer didn't want to upgrade to some decent wiring.

This is a great design if it was higher quality. It looks to be of good quality aesthetically, but I've now purchased and returned two units because within a few weeks, the light stops working. The second one also developed a burning smell when turning the heat on. Such a bummer because I liked it so much, but after 2 units having the same problem, didn't trust the reliability anymore.

This piece is more beautiful in person than in the photos. It worked for 3 days before the unit stopped glowing. The heater is still working but it’s no longer aesthetically pleasing to me. I am returning the unit for a replacement.

Thank You soooo much...I love my heater...The way it works is you can use the settings of your choice..1500 watts of heat or 750 watts of heat or simply no heat just the fireplace effect ..the fire place can be used with or without heat...I use it mostly for the fireplace without heat effect because of the coziness effect.....I LOVE IT💝

This heater was so cute when it first arrived, but then after a few uses for about 2 hours the light that makes it look like a fire place turned off, although the heater continues work. Since I bought it for my office and and I need a nice yet functional heat source I’ve returned it. I will say that it gave really good heat even if the light did not turn on.

It's exactly as adorable as expected and works perfectly well so far. I love that I can set things on the top without an issue. The only downside for me is having to manually turn it on and off because it has no ability to turn itself off at a certain temperature, and that really does detract from how nice it otherwise is.
