I got these cases and I am AWFUL at reading dimensions on product information pages and understanding it. So based on the photo thought they would be larger. Either way they are working PERFECTLY. I love that they come in a 3 pack and it allows me to easily be able to rotate their cages when cleaning them. Now that they are larger, I have separated the babies to allow more food and space for everyone. Clean up for these cages is really easy with their frass and it allows me to see them. Also wonderful ventilation for when the sun is on them. Over all I really love these and they are the perfect addition for all of my bug needs. It's good for transport of caterpillars or temporary feeding. The plastic window is nice and clear for viewing., but not good when caterpillars are ready to attach silk. Plastic is too slick to hold silk. Movement of carrier allows the silk to eventually pull away and caterpillar or cocoon ends up falling.

Many critter keepers are small and not easy to view. This is a great size especially for butterflies or larger flying insects. Large clear viewing areas.The large ventilation panels on both sides also keep it cooler than most. Better chance for the animals to stay alive!Only thing is that the clear panels are the type that scratch. So need to be careful or it will eventually become less clear.
