This Free Standing inline automatic chlorinator will work for either in-ground or above ground pools. Large capacity 4.2 lbs. tank will accept 3 inch Chlorine tablets. The chlorinator is fully adjustable so you can regulate the speed at which the tablets dissolve, depending on your pool's chlorine demand. This unit is made of heavy-duty resin. This In-Line Chlorinator is designed for permanent installation in the pool water return line. Review: I have had this in use on my Intex Ultra 9ftx18ftx52in pool for a few months now and very pleased so far. Seems well built and no issues with leaks. You will need to buy some additional hoses to plumb into your current pump system and will also need a stable mounting system, I just used some pressure treated lumber to build a small base and attached the feeder with two stainless screws. I have the feeder adjustment knob set on approx the 1/2 setting and add one 3in chlorine tablet every 4 days or so and this seems to work well and keeps the chemistry where it should be. Review: I replaced my Pentex chlorinator with this it works fine some reviews say the top cracked or they used a oil filter wrench to remove top, realize this is plastic and their is no reason to over tighten top, threads and top rim of chlorinator should be greased with silicone lube only every few weeks, do not use Vaseline it will break down the rubber O ring on cover. Otherwise a well made product as it holds approx 6 3” tabs enough for a 20x40 unground pool for 7-9 days the only con I see is if you use 3” slow tabs it will not work the will cover little inlet were water is circulated back to pool I remedied the problem by break the tabs into small pieces this is my second year and it’s working fine.

My elderly parents purchased this unit for their 25000 gallon pool. Unfortunately it was rated for only 13000 gallons and the connections from the filter were too small. Looks like a quality, well made unit. Perfect for a small inground, or above ground pool. If that's what I was working with I would have installed it. These are real easy to install and use. Takes alot of work out of maintaining chemical balance

Arrived promptly and installation was very easy. Hardest part of installation wad going to lowes to get pvc’s needed, pvc primer and glue. I would buy it with the device next time.. Otherwise all that was needed was a hack saw to fit auto chlorinator to existing lines. I’ve had it running for a couple of weeks, no leaks and seems to be running well. I would recommend wrench to remove cap to add chlorine. Not sure about efficiency yet but chlorine levels improving.
