I use these for testing the Ph level of kombucha, and as far as I can tell, they work as well and are as accurate as any other Ph test. However, I prefer this over the strips, as it's super easy to just rip off as much or little as I need. Plus, it seems like a better deal than the strips, I bought this about a year ago and still have about half the roll left. Just know that it can stain your fingers if you not careful, so consider using tweezers!

This works for a quick and easy gauge of PH level. I didn't want anything fancy and complicated. I am a simple person. ;) Those PH level machines scare me with having to calibrate it, wash it, replace parts, etc. I like how I can just cut a little strip of this PH tape and drip my kimchi brine on it to see what color it is for the PH level. I am happy I did NOT have to invest very much $$$ for this product and it lasts a LONG time! ;)

Making hot sauce is so simple with these. The colors give me accurate measurements that go by .5 so I can figure out exactly where the pH is when I'm trying to make a shelf stable product. They also change immediately, so no waiting to figure out levels and the tabs are bright for easy reading.

I’ve used this for kombucha on each batch for a month. Since I only use a small piece it’ll last a long time. I haven’t compared it with others to test the accuracy. But from anecdotal experience the health of my scoby improved when I used this to get the ph correct (<4). It is a little hard to read and it can stain fingers, but it seems like a good option still.

This is very easy to use and it's easy for me to match the color of the strip to the color on the bottle. It changes color quickly. A good value. I purchased the ph range of 0 to 6 to check my fermentations. A smaller range would be better like a 2 to 5 as the color squares on the bottle would be bigger. It's good for beginners. It's helping me gauge a good fermentation.

Used for making homemade vinegar from wine. They seem to do the job -- the vinegar turned out really well. The package is cute. I like the gold foil paper.
