Exactly what I was looking for.
I'm using it primarily for overpants for motorcycle riding. The key feature is the side zipper. Also, it's not too baggy. Just perfect.

Not actually waterproof
Rain got right through these pants in under an hour. Works great for wind, just not water. The pocket holes are a little too far forward to reach my actual pockets. The leg zippers are great. The belt loops are great to have. Love the concept, but $40+ for some pants that swish with every step and don't even protect me from the rain is absurd.
