Candle wicks
I wanted to try making my own citronella candles from scratch for my bar using old gin bottles…These candle wicks are the perfect length for the small bottles, great value, super quick response, free delivery and very inexpensive. I recommend this seller.

Excellent value
I'm really happy with this set of candle wicks. They are a good length and were easy to cut down to size. They come precoated and burn very well. The base is sturdy enough to remain standing while wax is poured around it but you will need to hold in place. I kept the offcuts after trimming them down so I can reuse them. At £3.79 (at time of review) for a 100 wicks, this is really good value, especially since offcuts can be reused. They do the job well and burn nicely. Very impressed with the quantity for the price.

Perfect for most DIY home-candle projects!
I recently tried these candle wicks for a DIY project I was working on. They are perfect for the job - long, thin and well-made with a steel disc at the bottom and a pre-coated wick. I have been able to use them to make a few little angel-candles for upcoming Easter, which you can check out at the attached photos. They can be used for a variety of different candle projects and are great for taller, thinner candles such as you would use on a dinner table. Overall, for most home-candle projects they are perfect. They are easy to use and £4.29 for a 100 pieces is a bargain. Highly recommended!

These are a little thin to make taller thicker candles
These are certainly long candle wicks, yet they seem a little on the thin side, if you were trying to make a larger jar kind of candle that is both tall and relatively thick. You would find these wicks are not large enough to enable the wax to burn efficiently. They would be more suited to taller thinner candles such as you would use on a dinner table. They seem to be well made with a steel disc at the bottom which is standard and a pre-coated wick. They would most certainly complete most of the candle making jobs that you wanted to do. I would just be cautious if you want to make taller thicker candles as these works would cause even burning issues.

A little bit expensive considering they don't come with a wick holder
I often make my own candles, so when these wicks from JANEMO came up for review, I jumped at the chance. On arrival, they come in a clip bag. They were all intact, which hasn't always been the case when I purchased other brands. They do not come with a wick holder, so I had to use one from another brand that I had. The wicks are good quality and they do burn without producing any noticeable smoke. However, at the time of review in late April 2023, they are listed on a special offer for £3.79, instead of their usual price of £4.29. But even listed at the special offer price, these are not the cheapest, especially considering they had no wick holder.

Good Candle Wicks - No Sticky Base
This 100 pack of candle wicks are ideal for making home made candles. We buy soya was pellets and make our own candles frequently. The only issue with these wicks is that they don't have a sticky base so can be difficult to keep in place when pouring the wax or pellets around the wick. I used some glue dots in the end to hold the wick in place.I hope you found my review helpful
