I was skeptical about this LED light just because of all the others I have bought looked good but performed poorly. I was very happy I was wrong this time. It is easy to set up and connect to the pole and very bright 10/10

You will need to buy a battery pack to use with it. Mine worked one time and hasn't since.

1) No other features matter if the light doesn't adequately illuminate the flag. This product illuminates the flag very well. Until I bought this I've been using small solar lights with very weak illumination and it's always bothered me that the flag wasn't properly illuminated. As you can see from the photo, the LED lighting and the up-from-the-bottom angles make the flag pop. I was a little skeptical but decided to give it a try. Very glad I did. Also, the solar panel is large and provides ample power to the lights to last all through the night until morning. My prior lamps sometimes gave out during the witching hour.2) In terms of secondary features, I'm thrilled that no part of this unit touches the ground. Previously, I had three solar lights mounted on ground stakes which I'd bought from Home Depot. In addition to not doing a great job illuminating the flag, it was always a pain to mow or trim around the flagpole. This light solves that problem and it's a huge relief.3) Mounting was easy enough although the worm-drive hose-clamps that come with are very large. I suppose this is to accommodate large-diameter flagpoles but for a standard residential aluminum flagpole it's way too much. After installation, I simply trimmed the excess back with tin snips. Be careful to still leave enough excess to be able to remove and re-attach, or be willing to buy replacements. Also, it's really helpful to have a second set of hands during installation to keep everything aligned while securing the hose-clamps. Tricky to do by oneself, especially given how much excess there is.4) The product was shipped missing one screw but it was easy to replace with spare parts from my garage and I would happily overlook that given how well the product works.

My flag is lit up better than I could ever imagine. Looks great, easy installation and I love how it works at night.

I like the design and ease of installation. I followed the instructions. I mounted the solar panel to the pole for two full days plus a half a the day daylight hours to without hooked up to lights, so would charge. I plugged it in, it wouldn't light when it got dark. Returning and will order a replacement, see what happens.
