Decent product
This works best for shoe sizes of ~8 in men or ~10 in women. Any larger (or smaller) and your feet won't align very well to the intended positioning of the pressure points. If you know what this is for, and you've used one before, it's a decent product. If you don't have any idea how to use this, I'd recommend staying away - as with all mats like this, it's extremely painful at first, until you develop a bit of tolerance and strength / flexibility in the right areas.

Too hard and painful for me
This foot massage mat seems decently made. It’s thinner than I expected but seems durable and doesn’t feel like it will rip easily. The “stones” are individually secured from underneath by plastic attachment pieces (adorably shaped like feet). The binding on the edges of the mat is well-done and secure, and the printing is nicely legible and doesn’t look like it will rub off easily. The concept is intriguing. The stones come in varying shapes and sizes to help reach the toughest knots and pressure spots, and there are plenty to choose from. A field of those stones takes up the top half of the mat, and right and left foot outlines filled with stones line the bottom. Those outlines offer a map/reference guide to acupressure points believed to be linked to organs/ailments so that relief can be gained quickly.I’ve had success with headache and pain relief using foot acupressure in the past, so I was truly excited to get this mat. Unfortunately, the plastic the stones are made from is far too hard and unforgiving for me or anyone else in my family to tolerate. I can use individual stones to work out knots in the less sensitive areas of my feet by concentrated pressing while sitting, but walking or standing on them or using them in a cluster is intolerable. It's worth noting that I don't have sensitive feet. In fact, I have the opposite and can tolerate a lot more pressure and digging in my feet than most people I know. The foot map is also far too big for me to stand on (if I could tolerate it). My size 7.5 feet can either reach the heels or toes but not both. The outlines seem to be patterned after a larger man’s feet, as my husband nearly fills them, and he wears a 10.5 or 11, depending on the shoe.Overall, the mat is a good concept and well-made. I only wish the stones had been constructed of a different material so I could use it.
