Perfect replacement for existing metal cable
I purchased this rope to replace a metal cable on the wench of a 2012 Can AM 500 XL. The rope was easy to install and worked well on the wench spindle. This rope will work better to lift and lower the snow plow I have on my ATV. I would purchase again.

WOW...unbelievable
I have been using this rope for my snow plow on my four wheeler. It has held up remarkably. I have been plowing with this rope for about a month and a half, pushing heavy, wet snow with no issues.Last year, I went through 20 feet of steel cable because it kept breaking. I never thought a rope would outlast a steel cable but I'll never go back, plus you don't get the steel splinters from rope. The synthetic rope is definitely the way to go.

Good for the price
It does break on a winch for an atv snow blade. But it’s a lot easier to fix than a cable.

Worth every single penny.
Not many things impress me enough to write a review, but this is one that has. I switched my wife to this rope and my God does it perform so much better. I used it half the winter in my plow and now have used to to pull logs and various other stuff with. I've literally heated the crap out of this and I'm so surprised it hasn't broke yet. If it does though I'll be right back here to buy another one. Highly recommend this item.

No problem with the plow!
I looked at a lot of these before buying this one, because it seemed so many people had trouble with them breaking.I used this one throughout this winter to lift my snow plow on my Honda Rancher ATV. My plow is a Warn Provantage 54", with a belly-mount. I'm also using the optional pulley to help give me better control over lifting. I had absolutely no problem with it.I think it is no problem as long as you aren't lifting the plow all the way to the point that it binds against the bottom of the vehicle, which you shouldn't be doing anyway.

VERY WELL MADE ROPE WINCH LINE.
VERY WELL MADE ready to install rope winch line. MUCH BETTER than wire rope for your ATV/UTV winch line. Has abrasion protection already installed on BOTH ends of the rope and loop is prebraided with a metal eyelet installed for the hook. Extremely strong and wear resistant. So far so good. I may come back after some use and update this review but from what I have seen so far it should hold up very well and for the price you can’t go wrong.

Feels like nylon. Spend more money
Its ok.. Pulled my Can Am buddies out of deep snow a few times..I ride with a lot of Can Am ATV owners and they just don't seem to stay out of trouble. Being a Polaris rider my ATV doesn't get stuck near as often as theirs do. Usually I am just watching from the top of a hill climb waiting for someone else to join me. Most often they never make it. This survived 1/2 a winter of four wheeling and 2 days of plowing light snowfall. Luckily this broke at the end while plowing and I just tied it off and proceeded. I'm really not sure if I would trust this anymore since it broke in less than an hour's worth of plowing, shredded the sheath too. I don't own a Can Am so I'm not used to the things I buy breaking like differentials and axles on a overheating Can Am but this was a lot easier and cheaper to fix than theirs

The perfect replacement!
Wow! What a difference. No more kinks, no more bends, no more jammed spool, no more frayed cable, no more wire slivers. Easy enough to install, smooth operation. If you're tired of all the hassles of your old wire cable this is sure the way to go.

Great wire replacement
This was the thinnest synthetic rope I could find. Length fits on 2000 pound winch spool. Seems to have no problem with load up to limit of winch. Abrasion sleeve and loop on end are good. Flows over smooth aluminum fairlead well. Light and easy to work with, gentle on hands.

I bought this about 3 years ago
I love this winch line. I've used it several times. I love that you don't need gloves to protect your hands from poking wires. I love that it's soft and pliable. I love that it doesn't get kinked. It's stronger than the original cable on my winch... that one broke the first time I used it. I highly, highly recommend this product.

Great price
It’s works like it should but if you have a steel cable you need to drill a hole in drum to attach rope. I used a tapcon screw.

If you are replacing wire rope this may be too long.
Seems to be a very strong rope cable compared to rope on our other quad. Went on easily and winds up well. Checked our winch drum for burrs from the old wire, all good so this went right on but it just barely fit for length, takes up more room than our wire did. Thinking this will last a long time.

Good price appears to be rugged.
I am using this on my ATV to lift my snow plow and drag trees out of the forest. My original steel cable frayed quickly using the snow plow and pulled under preceding wraps when pulling trees out of the forest. The steel cable became unmanageable as strands broke and even poked through heavy gloves. The UHMWPE Synthetic Winch Rope is not likely to have those problems and so far has been great and easy to use. Time will tell how abrasion resistant it is, but so far no noticeable abrasion even when pulling at almost 90 degree angles from the fairing, something I would not dare do with the steel cable. Slipping off the side of the road when plowing snow sometimes requires using the winch at extreme angles to find a place to connect the cable to pull yourself out.
