I bought the DVD for the movie BAD INFLUENCE, not remembering if I saw the movie ...
I bought the DVD for the movie BAD INFLUENCE, not remembering if I saw the movie MASQUERADE, I still haven't. Only the movie BAD INFLUENCE is on the DVD. I'm disappointed, for whatever reason, that Masquerade wasn't on the same disc. I like the movie BAD INFLUENCE, kept me in suspense. A lot of twists and turns. Rob Lowe is scary good being a bad guy.

Intriguing...
The movie, "Mascarade," was excellent!! I loved it. Lowe was very convincing. His acting was optimum.Meg Tilly was also a great opposite. It had romance, irony, and suspense. Just a perfect movie to see with your boy friend or husband.

Purchased Based On My Strong Liking Of "The New Kids"
Haven't seen "Masquerade" yet, though I can't recall if I saw it when it came out some 25 years ago. "Bad Influence" was okay, but the first half was much more interesting and enjoyable than the second half, which went on too long and became rather ludicrous and over the top. Rob Lowe seemed to be in too many places too soon to be believable, as he tried to make James Spader to be more relaxed and just have "fun".

great value
Been looking for Masquerade for a long time, always loved the movie. Bad Influence is pretty good too although there are several things that happen that are "duh" moments. Masquerade was very well done. This double feature was a much better deal than 30 some odd dollars for Masquerade only.

Watch Bad Influence and try to tell me he isn't amazing ...
I think Lowe is underrated. Watch Bad Influence and try to tell me he isn't amazing in that part.Masquerade has some great twists, and if you like sailing you will enjoy it.If you haven't seen it, try his series, The Grinder. It is hilarious. He has great comedy chops.

Good Thrillers
I haven't seen Masquerade in a very long time Both movies are very good Thrillers PLUS who doesn't love Rob Lowe

Good older movie - not great art, but good entertainment.
Masquerade is a late 1980s suspense movie starring a young Rob Lowe as a hustler who is trying to marry a young, but fabulously wealthy, heiress played by Meg Tilly.In Bad Influence, Rob Lowe plays a con artist who tries to control an innocent young financial analyst, played by James Spader.

GREAT MOVIE! Very exciting !!
I love this movie. Written by the great DICK WOLFE .. Who as we all know created the LAW AND ORDER franchise,Watching this movie , u literally don't know what will happen next! There is one shocker after another.If you love excitement, a good thriller and romance , MASQUERADE is the movie for you...As for BAD INFLUENCE.. didn't really get the plot .. But then again I bought this DVD for MASQUERADE any way.
