Fairfield by Marriott Body Lotion - Moisturizing Hotel Spa Lotion - Lavender & Eucalyptus - 8.5 oz

I fell in love with it during a stay at Marriott. The light lavender eucalyptus scent is different but amazing and I love the silky smoothness. I was very happy to find this.

I am very picky about hand and body lotion. Since I've yet to find something that works, I thought I would try this Lavender & Eucalyptus Alice and Co. Botanicals Moisturizing Lotion.The first test is the fragrance, since lavender and eucalyptus are both favorites of mine, it's a winner! I especially like that it is not too strong and it's equally balanced, so the eucalyptus does not "take over" the scent.When I first applied this to my hands I thought the formula felt watery, too watery in fact. I was wrong. I mean, it does feel a little watery for a lotion but that just means that it did not leave a greasy film on my hands. More than half the time when I put on hand lotion I end up washing it off because of the greasy film, but this lotion does not leave a greasy film.The third test - does it leave my hands softer. Yes indeed! This lotion leaves no stickiness or greasiness on my hands, it fully absorbed within minutes and my hands feel simply lovely. It seems simple but a lotion that works without feeling greasy is not that easy to find.It is not surprising that this lotion is not chock full of emollients, but it has enough to get the job done. It contains stearic acid, triglycerides and sunflower seed oil - which is all it really needs for softening. There are a couple ingredients that I'm not too fond of, like dimethicone, which is a silicone. Even though I don't like silicones in facial products, it's fine for using on hands and body. The one ingredient I would do away with though is phenoxyethanol. It's a preservative, but it can be harsh on sensitive skin and there are more natural alternatives.Other than that, I adore this lotion! Currently it is selling for $19 for an 8.5 oz bottle and I think that's a great deal because it smells great and it works.

I have used this while staying at Marriott hotels since this is what they stock in those bottles bolted to the shower walls. I didn’t realize it was available for sale. I would sneak a little of the body wash home with me by filling an empty travel bottle every time I stayed at a Marriott. Since finding it here on Amazon, I don’t feel guilty about stealing those extra 10-15 pumps of product that came home with me so I could continue to enjoy the fresh clean scent. The body lotion has not been available at the hotels, just the products used in the shower (shampoo, conditioner and body wash). I like layering the scent using the lotion after my shower.

I like everything about this lotion: feel, smell, effectiveness. It makes my skin feel really soft after use. The smell is nice and soft.

This is a medium weight lotion with a light to medium scent of eucalyptus and lavender. It's not overpowering, but the lavender does linger for a while.The lotion is moisturizing and leaves my skin silky smooth. It absorbs fast and there is no greasy residue.While I like this lotion, at $19 it's a little pricey for an 8.5 oz bottle.

I had high hopes for this lotion, but, unfortunately, I'm not a fan. Mine has no useable pump. It doesn't work. In addition, there was no seal on the bottle, either externally or internally.I didn't care for the fragrance either. It's strong but not one that suits me. I wouldn't be able to use this on a large area of skin as it would cause my allergies and/or migraine to trigger. Just a small amount was bothering me. The lotion felt a bit oily to me. It blended fine but left an oily feel behind on my skin.Overall, I don't care for this lotion. It's possible that mine was a bad batch or something considering that it had no functioning pump or seal. Despite that, I'm sure it would appeal to someone.
