professional look - good&safe protection
Great value for 8 pc.Easy to mount - easy to open for adults - easy to close. Let see how long it takes her to figure it out, how it works.Normally I mounted those "normal drawer latches" on nearby everything, since you dont see them. BUt on the stove, dishwasher and the desk (no real wood and the drawers would allow to mount the latches) I had to mount those. They domnt look cheap and does a good job.Need to fingers to open, certian pressure and the right move to remove one side (you could release boith sides too), so I hope it will take a while until she knows how to open those. :-) At the moment she didnt even try to open. She is about 23 lb and is hanging on the handle of the stove with her whole body. The two latches hold that weight, even I had already to remove and remount one of the latches. I think that just work if you recently mount it. So no guarantee that it will work always.

Love these!!!
I love these! Not only are they easy to use and easy to install but they actually look nice for a baby proofing product. I have a different kind on several cabinets and I can’t stand them. These actually work and I am going to be replacing the ones I don’t like with these very same ones. I highly recommend them, they adhere very well and very quickly and provide you with various ways of installing them, they work really well with single cabinets.

Ok. Does its job.
Works fine. Easy to install. The only thing With these type of guards is that, u need to remember to close it once you are done with that cabinet. The other types, you do more work upfront, but you don't have to worry about closing them. They automatically lock when you close the cabinets.

VERY STRONG but expensive
The only downside to these is the price. I bought an 8-pack and they’re great! We still have a couple left to use but plan to use them on the toilet lids and our closet doors. We have them on a couple of folding/accordion type cabinet doors, sliding closet doors and our sliding back door. It takes a bit of effort to pinch them open but they get a little easier over time. We’ve had them for 2 months and no sign of them coming off any time soon! Our one year old can’t reach them yet but I tested them by holding him up to grab and yank them and they didn’t budge so I trust the adhesive to keep him out of our washer/dryer closet and cleaning supplies, and from opening the patio door. I love that you can open it from either side and that the band between them doesn’t stretch but can flex! We put one of each end on the two of his closet doors and unless one side is undone he can’t slide it more than a half inch or so in any direction. We did the same thing for the other closet doors and they only open about an inch, so enough to get a finger pinched but no way he could get anything out from inside. Definitely plan to buy them again when we move into a house in a couple years. I just wish I didn’t have to spend $27 for 8 of these.

Don't.
Easy to install. Easy to use. Durable. Effective. Nightmare to remove. With 10 minutes effort EACH, we removed them from granite and stainless steel surfaces without a trace. Wood surfaces take 20-30 minutes each, and leave a clear region. I use the hairdryer/plastic knife or card method along with Goo gone. Applied for 6 years, 3 kids.

Very effective kitchen cabinet locks
We have used these as kitchen cabinet locks in two houses now. They have held up extremely well to daily use - opening and closing several times a day. I have not had one break yet. My young three year olds can close them but not yet open them. They have been very effective in my kitchen. A note - when we moved out of our last house, it did take some work to get the sticky residue off the cabinet after we removed the cabinet locks. The second time we installed them (in our current house), I used Large 3M Command strips to attach the locks and they have worked wonderfully. I cut off as needed at the top, and let the pull strip for removal hang down beneath. See the pictures for reference.

Worked
These worked fine. The only downside is that they are not adjustable in length. It limits what you can use them for, like a toilet lock and some cabinet doors.

good product-- read for REMOVAL TIP!
To remove: Use a hairdryer and a plastic putty knife to make your life easier. How they work: Super easy to install and they work great. Removal was my biggest issue but after reading some other reviews, found the easiest and best way, as mentioned above. No cabinet damage with this method. I would say these would be good for renters as you don't have to drill into anything- just make sure to soften the adhesive with heat first!
