The media could not be loaded. Out of the box the iSteady stabilization, AI tracking off the fill light works out of the box without having to connect the phone app or adjustment. The Hohem smartphone app is sleek and very easy to use, just follow the onscreen prompt and I was filming in no time. The Hohem joy app limited me to just 1080p but since the AI camera is external and independent to the phone I can make 4K video with my iPhone and let the magnetic AI camera do it own thing with the gimbal movement.Mounting the phone onto the Gimbal is easy, the phone grip is strong and grab onto my phone with case tightly. The arms are designed with wide angle phone lens in mind, at widest angle there is no obstruction from any of the 3 axis arms. The motor can get noisy but only when under a lot of stress, during my use I could hardly notice any and my phone mic did not pick up and humming noise at all.The fill light does work and it will save me from having to carry any studio light when I am travelling light, Ideal for Vlog at restaurants and event where there is little light at night. It comes with a USBc to USBc cable to charge your phone while mounted on the gimbal but there isnt and lighting cable for iPhones which is sad, I will have to get an USBc to lighting port adaptor for it to work.Since the gimbal can spin on one of the axis 360 degrees and this combination with AI tracking, I can make online content solo with it tracking my face while I walk and circle the Workshop multiple times in one direction to create many interesting shots.No more shaky footage, no more out of frame shots and no more hidden face in the dark settings.

As a solo content creator, I often work without assistance or a second person to help me with recording or capturing behind-the-scenes shots. This gimbal has truly transformed that situation. It is lightweight, the grip material is excellent, and overall, it is a pleasure to hold. However, what impresses me the most is the AI tracking feature, which functions seamlessly and operates at a greater distance than what Hohem claimed. The movement is smooth and not jerky. Being able to start and stop recording without touching your device and frame your shots is a capability my previously owned Zhiyun Smooth 5 lacked.The small OLED screen is bright and clear, and the gimbal's features will surpass your expectations by a mile.There are plenty of tutorials on YouTube for setting it up. Overall, this gimbal truly deserves more recognition in the market because it is truly remarkable.The best investment I have made for my smartphone is this Gimbal. I only wish there was a gimbal available to support the weight of my Canon R6ii + RF 24-70.

The media could not be loaded. Bought this after having a good look around. It’s my first gimbalSet up the first time was a bit tricky as I had never used one before. A few YouTube’s later and I was set up with my iPhone pro max. I could get the tracking working and played around a bit and was happy that it worked as advertised.Now I have a s21 ultra in the press so I said I would charge this up and give it a go. So it would connect after a few attempts but the tracking was very inconsistent which was a shame as I didn’t want to have to swap phones to use the gimbal.Tried clearing settings and restarting the process but the Samsung just never worked as well as the iPhone.Works very well with the iPhone and I’ll continue to use it. Found the tracking works well and have tracked my cats and my friends while bowling.Seems very stable and good quality. Would like a better tripod but it’s a basic screw in attached slot so that won’t be hard to source.My only issue is not working so well with android which is a shame.
