the company listed this rod as a heavy rod, just because its a 15-40# rod doest make it a HEAVY ROD, in my option its a med heavy rod, at best? i bought this rod back about 1 yr ago fished very little for carp, and the action and the rod material is ALL WRONG? first off a 15-40 rod is med /heavy not heavy?, then the construction carbon composite( is a combination of S GLASS, AND E GLASS MATERIAL) which is light weight thinner rods, like the phenix rod company or even the united composite rod makers , very sensitive to feel and the bite from the fish, very rigid and resist breaking the rod. for throwing jigs , as heavy as 60 grams. ? i would better to 30-40 grams instead, the company rated the rod as heavy , HEAVY IS 20-40 PLUS? 15-40 is not heavy! the cust. service in the past was pretty bad to say the less but over time there getting better! TO NOTE, if you cant get help from the c/s about a problem on the rod damage, or shipping, or even the cost for the repairs, or exchange that would send a company packing and out of buisness,? Abu Garcia has been in around for a long time , if they continue to treat the people thru c/s help, and dont help they wont be here very long? I GAVE THE RATING A 4 REASON, rod strength, wrong, misinformated , words on the rod, and in my option lying to the people who are interested in purchasing the rod to buy?

Premetto che sono un pescatore d'acqua dolce e che prediligo la pesca alle trote. Ho acquistato questa canna per una pesca medio/leggera in laghi con black bass. il casting della canna è leggermente inferiore a quello dichiarato, personalmente ho scelto la versione "7" 2.10mt 10/30 per il lancio di artificiali anche abbastanza importanti. La canna è in carbonio con anelli abbastanza scorrevoli, viene fornita con il classico sacchetto in tela di Abu Garcia su cui sono indicati i dati della canna da pesca, la confezione in cui l'go ricevuta era abbastanza solida e in grado di supportare eventuali urti durante il trasporto. Si tratta di una canna entry level per chi si avvicina alla pesca a spinning o per chi ha bisogno di una canna muletto. Non preclude però un esperienza ottima di pesca anche grazie alla buona sensibilità e al manico in sughero, penso che anche con un qualche pike attaccato se la caverebbe egregiamente. Been using this rod for predator fishing on canals - drop shotting for perch, jigging for perch & pike, lures for pike. The rod is light enough to hold for hours on end with a suitable reel, casts well, & has the backbone to handle decent fish. Fits in the car boot easily, so nothing not too like!

Gut und Günstig. Die Rute ist sehr leicht und zum Barschangeln super, habe sie seit einem Jahr. Spinner und Wobbler lassen sich super werfen, da sich die Rute für Köder ab 5g gut auflädt. Mit meiner 3m Spinnrute werfe ich die Köder genauso weit, bekomme aber nach einem langem Angeltag ein dickes Handgelenk. Der ein oder andere Hecht wurde auch schon damit rausgezogen. Wenn man ordentlich damit umgeht sehe ich keine Probleme.

Inizialmente ho avuto qualche problema, ma ho scoperto essere colpa del mulinello che ho trovato associato da amazon. Consiglio prima di acquistare di chiedere comunque consiglio a qualcuno più esperto nel mestiere che saprà indirizzarvi sicuramente bene. A me è stato comunque confermato che il prodotto è valido e va benissimo per iniziare
