This is a lovely picture, which my grand-daughter (age 7) really enjoyed making. The only drawback was that some of the instructions regarding which colours to use did not tally with the materials available and the picture on the box. Once she realised what was amiss (with a bit of advice from Mum and Dad), my grand-daughter had no difficulty in substituting colours and completing the picture. So, have a good look at instructions first. Otherwise, a lovely product.

Bought for my 10 year old neice who likes arty stuff.Its very easy to follow with the numbered areas peeling off to leave a sticky surface to which the glitter sticks to, finished off with sequins pinned through onto the polystyrene backing. Shes been incredibly patient and done a great job with it, in fact I wouldn't mind having a go myself!The only reservation I would have is the use of the pins if it was for a younger child as I have found the odd pin on the floor since she has completed it.All in all a very pleasing purchase!

A great item, although my 8 year old daughter did need a little help with understanding the instructions and which order to do things in. Having said that, although she's not finished all the sequins yet, it's looking very good overall and I'm sure she's be pleased to get another different design as a gift in the future. A great purchase for girlies who like to make and do.

Perfect stocking filler for pre-teen. Kept her entertained for quite some time!

Got this for my daughters 9th birthday. Something she had been wanting for a while. First of all she started to paint the edge of the frame, you don't really get enough paint had to water it down to complete the last bit. She started doing the stardust which is really nice, then she started putting the sequins on, she has almost finished but unfortunately has run out of one of the colours !!!! Don't understand why they don't provide a few extra. Now we have to go out and buy extra materials to complete the picture. Not very good hence why I have only given it 3 stars!!!!

This was a gift for my 8 year old daughter, its easy to use, the instructions are very clear, she managed to complete the picture with no help from a grown up.The finished picture is fantastic, very beautiful and impressive. My daughter thinks its great and was very proud of herself for completing it on her own and it looking amazing. Its now on her wall within a week of recieving it, and she has asked for more for her Birthday.

My daughter loved this. It took her quite a few sessions sat at the kitchen table but she stuck with it and I have to say the finished result is lovely. (I have two daughters and bought the mermaid one for my 6 year old and this one for my 7 year old - my 6 yr old needed a bit of help but my 7 yr old did it all herself).
