Great Gaming HDD
WD Red Pro 6TB HDD: I recently bought two of these, and both worked straight out the box. Their read/write speeds are great, I haven't noticed a slow down in gaming performance since I moved my Steam Library accross to this drive and kept my operating system on my SSD. The wife loves hers too. My drive runs cool, but then I insist on airflow directly over the drives at all times. A few reviews I read online said that they recommended airflow over these drives as they can run hot during gaming or high-demand tasks. During gaming I see the temps around 40 degrees C, and around 28 degrees C during normal use; but the drive sits about 5 inches away from my intake fans in the front of my case. I would recommend then that should you buy this HDD, you review your case choice to accommodate direct airflow. Otherwise, great product, and would highly recommend it.

Failed hard drive in under 1 year
I have purchased 2x 6 TB WDD red hard drives. Within a year one of the hard drive started failing with 31115 bad sectors being reported in health status. Absolute waste of money.
