Great Daypack
I use this for my hiking daypack. I love the features and the fit for me is perfect. Lots of space for everything you may need for a day hike. The 14L has features for expanded storage which I prefer over the 10L model. As you can see in my pic the "stuff pocket" is large enough for my XL rain jacket. The color is okay, Id prefer a dark green or FDE color in this model but that is not an option. I probably should have got the black but this color was on sale and I am happy with my purchase.

The size and utility of this pack is perfect for my upcoming hiking needs
I did a lot of research before settling on this pack, and I'm glad I did. The size is perfect for what I wanted it for: longer day hikes where I would need to pack a lot of water, plus a multitude of other small things and doesn't get in my way. I've only used it a couple of times so far, but the utility of the various pockets, the 2.5L fluid capacity and the ridged back venting really hit the sweet spot for me. I'm really happy to have gotten this Raptor 14 pack (black)

Perfectly designed mountain bike backpack
Perfectly designed mountain bike backpack. I could barely notice it was there including some very long rough downhill. Happy to have the backpack as extra body protection in case of fall but happily didn't need it for that.

Another overdesigned pack from Osprey
Who designed this ridiculous bladder compartment? On all other packs, including Osprey, you can have the drinking tube come out on either side. I guess Osprey hates left-handed people. But beyond that what's with the zipper that runs halfway down the shoulder strap. It's such a pain to load and unload the bladder. So unnecessary.I don't know why pack manufacturers are phasing out the open stuff pockets. They are the most useful part of having a pack. Quick access for stuffing a layer into or putting a small tool pack into. 10 years ago you couldn't buy a pack without one, now they're hard to find and are way too small to be useful when they do have them. It's hard to get things in and out of it because it's so tight and the center strap instead of two side straps on the back stuff pocket just gets in the way.
