Vast improvement over the original
Firstly this is so much better than the original Pokémon Go Plus that came out in 2017. It’s also an improvement on the Pokeball Plus which was primarily a Nintendo Switch controller by also acted as an accessory that could perform the PG Plus functions with the added auto spin of Pokestops. I have used it to do catches and spin Pokestops, here’s my my experiences with Catching and Spinning. Catches. I found it at times a little slow in detecting Pokémon. By giving it a little shake though it seemed wake up and start to perform some catching of Pokémon. This was the case for Auto and Manual catching with it. The option to select the ball used when manually catch is a great addition, note though this only works when pressing the button to catch and not auto catching. Spinning pokestops. This works so much better than the Pokeball Plus which sometimes seems to forget to spin stops and gyms. The Plus + today during the Riolu Hatch day spun every stop and gym I passed. A few other things to point out. Pokémon priority, like the Plus and Ball Plus it prioritises Pokémon over Stops. So if you have it on to detect both Pokémon and Stops it will pick up Pokémon first. Personally this doesn’t matter to me as I only use it to spin pokestops as I prefer to physically catch so as to throw Great and Excellent throws. The quick reconnect is a great feature as you only have to tap the in game icon to reconnect to the Plus +. Means you can leave the Plus + in your pocket. In both of the Catching and Spinning tests it never disconnected outside of the hour which it will stay connected. This is something the original and ball would do a lot. Some have had issues with it but I have had no issues and used it on an iPhone 8 and 11. I did have one issue where it would connect but I fixed it by pressing the small reset button on the back of the Plus + and restarting my phone, this was a one off. Size wise it’s bigger that the Plus but a good usable size, in initial photos I thought it looked too big. It’s a certainly better in a pocket than the Pokeball Plus due to it being thinner. Saying that though the Pokeball Plus wasn’t a Pokémon Go accessory first, it was a secondary function. The accompanying accessories, charging lead, a wrist strap with a magnetically attached clip. Charging lead is very short and has a usb one end and a c type for connecting to the Plus +. So it will need a charger with a usb plug. The wrist strap is good but the magnetically attached clip fails on that the magnet part is very weak and wouldn’t use it. The Sleep function seems to be a bit flawed. I put it too “sleep” at about 10PM and woke it back up at 8AM, it said I had slept for 4 hours. Not sure if it this was due to someone still in the living room after I went to bed. Finish and quality. Looks wise and build quality is very good. It looks really really nice. Is it worth the price point? I feel it’s slightly overpriced but I guess it’s what you come to expect from a Nintendo made product. Compared to how poor the Plus was which was very overpriced for what it did or should I say didn’t do.

Pokémon essential!
If you are debating whether to buy this. Do it. I’m an avid player, at level 48. And this is great! Not only do you get linked up to Pokemon sleep. You get additional rewards when linking it to sleep. The auto catch will spin pokestops when you are unable to. And catch pokemon for you too. Which is perfect for when I’m driving. Just activate. In the bag. And off I go. The only down sides. The vibration! You can’t turn it off. And no matter what surface you put it on. The vibration is loud and frustrating. You can silence the sound, but just not the vibration. It’s caught a couple of 4* Pokémon for me, and shiny pokemon! So all good!

A worthwhile upgrade for Pokémon GO players
I bought this as an upgrade from my previous Pokémon GO accessory and I've been happy with it overall. It worked exactly as expected, connected without any major issues, and made it easier to play while out and about. The extra features over the older devices made it feel like a worthwhile upgrade rather than just a replacement. Overall, if you already enjoy Pokémon GO and are considering moving on from an older accessory, I'd happily recommend it.

Early days, parent perspective
I bought this for my daughter, mostly for the auto PoGo work, but she wanted to use Sleep too for the extra rewards. I had concerns about that before receiving it but not knowing exactly how you used it was open minded. Now we've gone into the app and learned how to use it, unless people online start sharing how to make it work differently, I won't be letting her use Sleep. It needs microphone permission, the phone on charge, nearby and unlocked all night. Even if I let her keep her phone in her room we have restrictions set after a certain time, so assume that would stop it tracking. I thought it may be useful for other parents with younger kids to be aware of these points in case it factors into decision making. In terms of connectivity and use we gave it a short trial earlier. It connected easily, set up was simple, I love the packaging and the wrist strap is really handy. However we can't get the auto spinner to work and struggled to find an answer online, so not all smooth sailing. My daughter finds the vibration helpful, although if I was using it I think it would annoy me in areas with lots spawning. Earlier it was mostly frustration as it hardly caught anything and burned through her pokeballs. Not great in an area without many stops. I think once she gets the hang of using it though it could be a great accessory. ETA we've now used it in an area with plentiful stops and spawns and my daughter thinks it's great. It's certainly helping her game play.

Wonderful accessory which works great for Pokémon Go & tracking Sleep data for Pokémon Sleep
After using the Pokémon Sleep app I realised that having my phone next to me on my bed was impractical and I decided that I wanted to try out this accessory to see if it would be better suited to tracking my sleep data. On the whole it works really well in terms of tracking my Sleep data and I've had better success tracking sleep via this than just using the app alone on my smartphone. In terms of the capabilities on Pokémon GO it gives you a lot of options compared to the original Pokémon GO Plus. You can decide whether to use regular pokeballs, greatballs or ultraballs. It still has the manual catch option but you can also get it to auto catch with a regular pokeball along with autospin for pokestops. In practical terms it works really well and seems very competent at catching mons. If your pokeball inventory is empty or if your storage is full it will flash red to inform you it cannot catch pokemon. Being able to easily inform the player of catch attempts and number of items granted from a pokestop lets you play the game without having to be always glued to the screen. In terms of connectivity it does a good job of staying connected. Once you tap on the pokeball plus icon on the game and press the button on the Pokémon Go Plus+ it pairs quickly and I've not noticed any connection drops while playing. Battery charge on the device is fantastic, I believe it's stated that it will last about a week or so on one charge which is pretty handy especially if you'll be away from home for a while. It has a rechargable battery which uses a standard USB-C connector which is perfect. Overall this is a fantastic device and if you want to take your Pokémon GO & Pokémon Sleep experience to the next level I highly recommend getting one.

Perfect addition to Pokémon GO
I got this since I recently started playing Pokémon GO again and with the release of Pokémon Sleep, it was the perfect time for an auto catcher. Catch rate isn't 100% as no auto catcher is, but it's been a godsend to have on a dog walk which I tested today, the auto Pokéstop spinner is also an added bonus. I've had no issues with the connectivity, immediately turned off the Pikachu voices though, the centre button flashes a lot for a variety of things which some people probably have an issue with, but personally I don't mind other people seeing it. The lights and vibrations can't be turned off which can be a downside for some people, but again I have no issues. It seems to work well at tracking for Pokémon Sleep and the bonus Pikachu that you get for pairing the device is great since it doesn't take up a slot on your team! It is a little expensive but if you're playing both of these games it could be worth the price tag.

The perfect companion to Pokémon GO!
Most of the reviews here seem to have misinterpreted what Niantic described the device to do. This device allows you to automatically spin PokéStops and catch Pokémon with Pokéballs which is fantastic for saving time and playing on the go while you can’t use your device to focus on driving or socialising with friends and family. The device also allows you to set up the button on the device to instead of catching automatically, you can catch every Pokémon with a Great Ball or a Ultra/Hyper Ball, which is especially use for on community days and such to guarantee much better odds at catching, the only difference is you have to manually press the button which is still way quicker and easier than bringing out the device and unlocking for a single catch. The device can also be used with Pokémon Sleep which is another fantastic app to monitor your sleeping habits altogether while making it into a fun and cute game, fantastic for people of all ages honestly! There is only one “flaw” as people say which is the fact you cannot turn off vibration, placed on a desk will cause quite the loud sound but it is designed for pocket use so you can press the button through your pocket, for me it was never an issue. Most people that complain are most likely spoofers that won’t get much use out of it and/or people who have not purchased the product and instead misunderstood Niantic and decided that they were at fault instead of themselves. I truly hope you have a wonderful day reader of this review! Happy Catching and don’t forget to say “Gotcha!” When you catch them!

Some great feature, could be better. A must have if you are a serious game like me!
The Pokemon Go Plus +, a new accessory aimed at enhancing gameplay, comes with a mix of successes and glitches. Intended to make the game more immersive without constantly staring at the phone screen, it offers improved features like auto-throw and auto-spin. However, these features often malfunction, requiring a series of troubleshooting steps to activate and maintaining connectivity remains an issue. The device itself is well-designed, with a sleek appearance and tactile buttons that offer a satisfying experience. It includes a wrist strap and a peculiar sleep-tracking function that connects with Pokemon Sleep, although it tends to activate unintentionally throughout the day. Despite its potential, the Plus + fails to fully address the issues of the Plus line, altering gameplay dynamics and sometimes pushing players towards in-game purchases to manage inventory shortages caused by its mechanics. While it boasts improvements such as a rechargeable battery via USB-C, the glitches in auto-mode and sleep tracking currently hinder its recommendation. Additionally, its larger size compared to its predecessor makes it less convenient for everyday carry.

Super sprawa

Not “Used like New”
The packaging was damaged. There was no band in the pack. The device won’t work. Tried factory reset, reinstalled the app in both android and ios, tried the silent mode and revert. There was no response other than the main button blinking.
