CygnetSERIOUSLY CHUNKY Knitting Acrylic Yarn / Wool 100g - 4888 Burnt Orange

This is a lovely super chunky yarn.I looked through a few brands trying to find a set of fairly bright colours for a rainbow pattern and these fit the bill well. Most super chunky yarns I found were of muted and limited pale colours. These Cygnet ones worked well and were a very good price as well.At 100g, the yarn does go fairly quick on larger projects as it is SO chunky, so make sure you work out how much you need and order enough skeins!I used this with a 10mm crochet hook for the rainbow cushion pattern I was doing.

I have been using this wool to crochet a blanket. I love the colour, it is easy to work with and feels great! It has made so far half of a very warm, soft blanket! The only reason this product doesn't get 5 stars in my book is because the wool itself has way too many joins in it. These have caused unsightly knots and tufts of fluff in my blanket, which is a shame because otherwise the overall result would be beautiful!

Lovely yarn to use and the colour was beautiful.

Crochet is addictive and the right yarn is an advantage. This was a gift for a bored 16 year old, so fed up in lock down, the yarn was perfect for her enterprise, did not unravel and fitted the tension. For a beginner it couldn't be better.

My husband used this to try a new stitch out and the chunkiness was great to help make everything visible and get the gust. Great colour and makes a lovely scarf.

It’s a lovely colour and will be perfect for some users, though for me the yarn isn’t as soft as I thought it’d be. It’s actually quite coarse, so definitely won’t be using it to crochet a scarf as planned.

It is quite thick, though I needed twice as thick which is hard to find so I am having to use two balls at once. The colour is disappointing as it is more a dull brown than bright orange.
