Cokliomc the seller of this itemb is in China, so I would also assume the product probably comes from there also. I can say after buying two for my birds that they have no weird smells and no very harmful parts aside from the dyed wood. Even that is water soluble and comes off easily if you want to clean it first.

I’ve had it for a few mo this and my parrott is just fine. I didn’t notice an odor.
