The author is skillful: kept me going while the basics sunk in. TEN Things was a great help. The glossary well done. It also becomes possible to read selectively.

Bought this as I love the quality and format of For Dummies books. It is the next step in my research of how the mind works.

Teaches about the structure and function of the elements that make up the human nervous system. Not really for complete dummies: it will help if you know a bit about organic molecules.

Working my way through this book currently and it is explaining things so well, I'm learning so much even though its such a complex topic. Definitely recommend.
