Lily and Harry’s relationship is so captivating and interesting. Although she doesn’t come in until later in the book, you are waiting for her. The introduction of the new characters is very interesting as well. The twists are so good, and honestly you don’t see it coming. I’m excited to read the next book of this series.

I immediately bought this, bc I was impressed by "The kind worth killing", and I have to say the sequel is really good as well. In my opinion, it has a little bit of a slow start, but the pace picks up eventually and it gets very exciting.Not as good as the first book, but Id still recommend it !!

There's a reason this man is my favorite modern mystery crime author and that's because he can write a mean book and knows exactly how to utilize the characters he's built in the first book of this series.

The Kind Worth Killing by Peter Swanson is one of my favorite books ever written. Any time anyone asks for a recommendation, that is the first one I give. It's perfect. It's a nonstop ride that grabs you and doesn't let go until the very SHOCKING last page.When I saw that it was getting a sequel, I felt so many things -- excitement, fear, longing, wonder...could the sequel ever hold a candle to the original? I ordered it for release delivery day (of course), but then I let it sit for a couple of weeks, because I was afraid to start it, and I also didn't want it to be over.I picked it up and read it, and my God...it was perfect. I didn't know what I wanted the sequel to my favorite book to be. I couldn't fathom what that would look like. Would I have come up with The Kind Worth Saving? No. Was it absolutely perfect? Yes. The characters were brilliant. The book is about killing and sociopathy and revenge, yet somehow, it was cozy? Peter Swanson has a way of writing that puts you into the car, the shoes, the BRAIN of the character, and it overtakes you so completely that it is unlike reading any other author. I can't wait for a few months to go by so I can forget the details of this book and then pick it up again and rediscover it.Thank you, Peter Swanson. Thank you.
