If you buy used, it can be washed!
I saved a few dollars and purchased this in Like New condition - probably an Amazon return. The item itself was great but it had a fragrance that's probably from whatever Amazon sprays on returns to sanitize them. It was bothersome to me (I'm very sensitive to fragrances with pronounced allergies to some) and I considered returning the item until I figured out I could wash it. Put the cover and case through with the laundry and hung them to dry, then hand rinsed the foam pillow itself. Looks like it took care of the smell! One thing also to consider is that though this seems like a super comfy pillow, I'm not able to wear it with headphones, so will likely just stick in the earplugs when it's time to sleep.Also... You should store this unrolled. If left rolled for more than a month, it might not bounce back completely (this caution is printed on the inside of the storage case).

Works for chin to chest flyers too!
I've been a chin to chest flyer for years. Bought this for a long-haul flight to Hawaii. I found the default of the straps being in front didn't help me when I experimented my head flopping down like I do. One video showed a guy shifting it around for us droolers so I tried that. The first picture showed the back in the front. It was good but after a few seconds I noticed my jaw start hurting. Too much constriction, maybe? I swiveled it to the side and it was so much better. My jaw felt looser and more sustainable long term. Play with what works for you. Couple tips-Put it on the normal way first, tighten it and then swivel. If you have long hair, put it up before you put it on. My hair got stuck in the tightener strap. Looking forward to trying it.

Loved it on the red-eye!
This pillow did very well for me on a couple of 8 and 9 hour overnight flights. It squishes well into the convenient little carrying case that comes with it (I was shocked it fit, actually), it's really soft and comfortable yet it is very strong support for holding your head up. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the chin strap is too far out (for my chin to reach, anyway), but I guess it helps hold the two ends in place, and the raised sides kept my mouth closed anyway. I slept well while wearing it, and if I had any doubt about how good it was, I dozed off at one point without it and woke up with a sore neck - I put it on anytime after that if I felt a snooze coming on!

Finally a neck pillow that will help me sleep on a plane!
I love the way it keeps my head upright. The straps that go around an aircraft seat head rest are perfect. I have said for many months that if I could only strap my head to the aircraft seat, it would stop it rolling around and keep me awake. Finally someone has made a neck pillow that actually works for me.

Decent travel pillow, but not for use with over ear headphones 🎧
I'll give the Cabeau Evolution S3 Travel Pillow 3⭐️s for being a decent pillow that has the features outlined and a nice little travel case. BUT...It does NOT work well with headphones, especially over the ear ones like AirPod Max or Sony Noise canceling. It's not even that comfy with in ear AirPods as I tried both my AirPod Max and AirPods Pro and could not use either comfortably with the pillow. The pillow does what it claims. It keeping your head in an upright position and stable, but to the extent that its almost to zealous in doing so. Their claim that it's cooler than other pillows because of the front opening is rubbish. It still cover the veins on your neck that will always make you hot when something wraps that tightly around it.If you want to wear earphones while using then a big NO. But if you are just looking for a travel pillow that you won't use headphones with, and aren't worried about getting overly warm. Then it's a good quality pillow. One other note (found only printed inside the storage bag that I saw) is that you should NOT keep it in its travel back for more than a month as it will permanently disfigure the pillow. So when you get home you need to take it out of the travel case and then re-pack it for the next trip to keep it in tip top shape. My suggestion to Cabeau is that they add in divots or cutouts for headphone wearers. That would at leas make it more practical for those of us who ware our headphones for the entire flight to protect our ears.

Most comfortable travel pillow
I ordered three of the top rated neck pillows which has positive reddit reviews as well. This one was the most comfortable and it has been around the world with me.Pros: After using the chin strap and strapping your Head to the seat, it is actually quite comfortable. I've had solid 8 hours of sleep wearing it. It is definitely the most comfortable travel pillow by a long shot. I actually use it as a regular pillow when I put my big over-ear nose cancelling headphones on.Cons: it is much bulkier than other options (e.g. inflatables) and you can't leave it rolled up for long term storage because it is memory foam. After strapping yourself in, it is also cumbersome to get in/out of airplane seats. I have occasionally woken up feeling claustrophobic because you end up so strapped in. IMO, it is still the best.

Well designed travel pillow
My family of four (including a 12 and 14 year old) have used several travel pillows and the one each of us ultimately prefer is the Cabeau TNE S3, primarily for its comfortable neck and chin support and that it can also be strapped to airplane seats.
