I'm 74, a pensioner, and terrified of heights. What would I want with a professional climbing rope, I hear you ask. I've got a house in France with a roof with a slope like the north wall of the Eiger. And loose slates. The plan ? To tether one end of the rope to that stupid wooden ladder the French use for scaling roofs with. The bottom of it sits in the gutter, which is like aluminium, but not as strong. Yeah right. So... chuck the rope over the roof and pin it under the front wheel of the car. Now, nothing's going anywhere. And so it was, that I managed to fix the slates in place, with one hand on the ladder and both eyes tightly shut. The rope was everything I ever wanted it to be. It will remain with me forever, and comes with the highest recommendation, even if it never sees a mountain. The only fly in the ointment ? I left the car keys in the ignition.

I bought this Climbing Rope with Carabiner to work on an air vent pipe on our roof. My friend used it to hold me in place while I was harnessed. The rope performed exceptionally well; it didn’t fray at all despite the friction from the feed and felt very secure. The quality seems top-notch, and for the length you get, it's a solid value.I felt safe and confident working up there, and I’m impressed with how well it held up.

I needed this fast and again amazon delivered fantastic. Had a great weekend on the dingy with my family doing a little fishing used this rope for the anker and then used it to tie it to the trailer . great quality rope and lots of colour choices. Im Sure it will last a long time. money well spent.

I use it for roof work in combination with a harness and climbing gear . It fits in well .

Would not trust anything to keep our daughter safe. This rope is now my daughters swing in our garden and she loves it.

I was initially rather impressed for the price, however I would not recommend for regular or sustained use.When coiled into a rope bag and used for rappelling (as a back-up line) it regularly kinks where the folds in the rope remain from being packaged and does not come out smoothly - this may improve with time and use. Unfortunately, combined with a Prusik loop this kinking means there is a tendency for the outer layers of the rope to separate/move from the core and to bunch up requiring significant extra care and attention to keep the rope functional.

La cuerda viene en una funda con 2 precintos, 2 mosquetones robustos y una etiqueta de garantía (de la que no doy mucha credibilidad)... Una vez desenrrollada, estirada, marcada su mitad y plegada correctamente para eliminar los rizos y dejarla preparada para su uso, ...verifico que es bastante robusta y dura, también es más pesada de lo que esperaba en su conjunto, aunque los mosquetones los he sustituido por unos buenos de seguridad y menos pesados, los que trae parecen resistentes para dar otros usos que no sea un Rapel o descenso de emergencia. Yo la he pedido para una mochila de emergencia, como cuerda de escape. Y cumple mis espectativas. (15m)

Usata per uno scopo diverso dal naturale e in particolare per legare gommone all’auto e poi al moletto del porto. La qualità del tessuto del cavo è di buona fattura ma quello che mi ha colpito sono i due attacchi con i due moschettoni. La cucitura e la protezione per evitare che il moschettoni consumi la corda sono fatti di materiale plastico resistente e i moschettoni belli robusti e comodi da aprire. Buono il rapporto qualità prezzo.
