I purchased this umbrella stand after reviewing numerous others and was attracted to it because of the weight and the caster wheels. The flexibility of adding water or sand to provide the desirable weight and sturdiness was a plus. This stand held up during gusts of winds which is comforting on those windy days that you still need shade. I made sure when purchasing this stand that the wheels were solid, since my last one broke the first season in use. I love the flexibility of moving the stand from one location to another with ease, and the ability to empty it and put it away for storage when not in use. I have had no issues with it leaking and it’s still in great shape after an entire season of use. This stand is worth the money.

This is a stylish and sturdy patio umbrella base. There is a hole to fill water or sand. My patio umbrella is 9' and it fits the base well.I believe the base can hold a larger umbrella as well. The base also moves smoothly, with locks on two wheels (out of four wheels in total), which is very convenient. A nice purchase.

I love the wheels! It makes it so easy to move around to make sure I am not in the sun. Filled it with water- would buy it again!

I chose to fill the stand with water, and so far, it is holding up my 9 foot umbrella without any problems. I do put the umbrella down at night and during high winds. The wheels are great and make it easy for me to move it round my patio. The wheel locks work well and are easy to put on and off. I recommend this product if you are looking for an umbrella stand with wheels.

I bought a large, rectangular patio umbrella to shade two chairs on my deck.It kept tipping over because it was top-heavy for the base that came with it.The slightest hint of a breeze and the umbrella fell over.Then I found this umbrella base.No WAY anything was going to tip this over.It has a large rectangular base to approximate the coverage of the umbrella.The stem has TWO screws to hold the umbrella cane, so it doesn't pivot around a single screw like my original base.best yet, it is HOLLOW. You fill it with something to add a counter weight to the umbrella top.You can add SAND if you like - lots of it - that's plenty of weight.To fill it even more, you can add WATER, which fills in all the spaces between the sand .That is one weighty base!Too heavy? There are WHEELS and BRAKES on the wheels, so you can easily move it, then set the brake so it won't move on its own. I like moving it around my deck so that it is between me and the sun, so the wheels are very handy.All of these features explain why it isn't priced like some $25 patio umbrella base.Buy this, and it will be the last one you have to buy.Anyone want the two cheap bases I bought initially?This one is a keeper!

Package arrived in perfect condition, well packaged & all components included. Safe, secure and beautiful in appearance. Lighting operational after removing the top cap and plugging in the solar panel. Very nice product and well engineered. Cudo's to Fruitteam. Buy with confidence!

This umbrella base is really great for my patio umbrella. It is very stable to hold my umbrella even when it is windy or rainy. You can easily move it around. Also, you may fill in the base with water to add weight and make it as stable as you want. I would highly recommend this base for your patio umbrella at home.
