Cheap and effective
I got these for my girlfriend, because the metal backs of her earrings kept falling off. These are better than the original metal backs and don't fall off.They're cheap enough to buy a pack and chuck a few into the bottom of your purse or bag for emergencies on nights out. Recommended.

I brought these earrings backings to have on 'stand by' in my jewellery box as I am forever losing backings to earrings.I have yet to use these but have came across/used this design before and know they are a more secure fit to the traditonal metal 'butterfly' fittings.

Not recommended
First off these are tiny and would be fiddly for anyone with poor dexterity. Used a couple of these and over time they become looser and my earrings fell off in both cases. Unfortunately lost an expensive silver earring.
