Easy to use compact seed tray for producing healthy plug plants. It fits nicely on the windowsil. The cover keeps them snug initially, and they can be left for a week without any worries. Once large enough the cover can be removed. Watering from below is easy and mess free. The seedlings/plugs come out cleanly and transplant well. The plug tray can then be cleaned ready for the next use, month after month, year after year. 49 plants fit into each tray, by far the most compact and easy to use and durable I have seen over the last 30 years.

Absolutely love this product..... In fact I bought 3 more! You can start 49 plants in a very small space. Easy to use, can water from the bottom, plugs come out easily and cleans easy too. Highly recommend this.

I started using these this past spring and I love them. Easy to use in several ways and effective and fast germination. I had been using the 52-70 cell plastic planters and constantly had quick germination then out of control leggy sprouts. With the plug planter I get several iterations during planting season. The early iterations I transplant to larger planters with very high success rate. The later ones I direct plant in the ground when it is past frost. I have added some more for this upcoming season and will be doing many more sprouts for seeds I normally start in the ground. I figure I can get a several week jump on the season and with a higher success rate. Even carrots which drive me crazy in that the weeds grow faster than the seeds and soon I cannot find the carrots until I dig up separate out the weeds and replant. I plan on skiping that middle step now..

qui semble solide, le plastique du bac comme de la serre avec les petites pointes est épais/rigide.Attention toutefois au système qui permet de pousser les mottes de terre, ce n'est pas très facile à mettre en œuvre à vide et les petits bouts de plastiques qui retiennent le bac du dessus sont les seuls éléments dont la solidité peut être remise en cause. On verra quand les compartiments seront plein de terre.C'est le seul petit point faible de ce bac qui toutefois est d'une bonne facture.
