Perfect Incubator for Beginners
This egg hatching incubator is perfect for beginners! It holds up to 12 eggs, turns them automatically, and has a built-in water reservoir that keeps the humidity at just the right level. It was incredibly easy to use, even for a first-time egg hatcher. Watching the hatching process was so much fun for me and my family—it made the whole experience exciting and educational. Everything worked exactly as expected, and I would highly recommend this incubator to anyone looking to hatch eggs for the first time.

Great beginner incubator
Ordered this incubator last minute to hatch eggs from a hen that I had lost by predator. I have used it twice so far. The first hatched 3 out of 8 and the second hatched 1 out of 12. I do not blame the incubator for the low hatch rates however. On the first hatch there were eggs that ended up not being fertile and on the second hatch they were almost 3 week old eggs before I was finally able to get them set. Only 3 of those 12 eggs ended up being viable. As far as incubator quality...it feels sturdy, and appears like it will hold up to use. It is extremely easy to set up, operate and clean afterwards, which makes it nice for in home use. It's small enough to easily set on a kitchen counter and not be in the way. Some things to consider before purchasing: The temperature stayed consistent although it ran slightly lower than the set temp. You may want to increase the set temp slightly to get your desired range. You'll want to add a hygrometer/thermometer inside the incubator to keep an eye on those numbers. I found the humidity to be the most challenging issue with this incubator. The water bottle while it does deliver water to the incubator, I found to be difficult to adjust and it kept the humidity higher than necessary (around 80%). In the future I would dry hatch instead or just manually add water as needed through the tube. I have had zero issues with the automatic turner with the chicken eggs. I saw several negative comments in the reviews about the turner but I never personally experienced any issues. As long as the lid was secured correctly the turner has worked. It's easy to do a test turn to make sure it's working if you're not sure. Overall I am pleased with this unit and will update once I have run a dry hatch through it. Would love for it to be able to hold more than 12 chicken eggs but so far it has done it's job with the eggs that were viable.

Perfect start up incubator
For a cheap little incubator, it did a great job. Only did two batches with more to come this hatching season. I just set it and forget it. In a sense. It doesn't give a humidity reading, but it kept a steady temperature and my room is always cold. I give it credit for keeping up without a hiccup. It does rotate on its own about every hour I believe, or every other. I can't remember. I don't really recommend hatching a full dozen at once. The birds run out of room real quick. I did eight for the second batch and it was much better.

Keep the styrofoam & buy hygrometer
The good: - 100% hatch rate my first try - clear lid makes it easy to watch the hatching - turner works well (so far anyway, I just started my second dozen eggs) The bad: - very large chicken eggs barely fit & I had to alternate with smaller eggs - humidity control was hard. If the water attachment was on the little foam block as instructed, humidity was way too high days 1-17. During lockdown, the humidity was still too high, and the spikes in humidity when a chick hatches didn’t come back down quickly. I dealt with days 1-17 but not filling the water bottle above half and putting it on the counter without the foam block. During lockdown prior to hatch, I would lift the bottle for the amount of humidity I needed to add manually and then set it back down so it wouldn’t go too high. During hatching, I removed the water bottle to vent extra humidity, and still had to open the lid several times so the unhatched chicks wouldn’t drown. If you live in a more humid area, you could probably dry hatch and this wouldn’t be an issue. - temperature consistently was off by a couple of degrees and can only be adjusted in full degrees (98, 99, 100, etc). If you don’t use the styrofoam, it has a harder time maintaining the temperature. For my second batch of eggs, I added a small space heater so I can avoid using the styrofoam. I also put 2 hygrometers inside the dome so I can monitor things. The side where the water attaches is always slightly cooler and more humid than the opposite side. Overall, I’m ok with the extra work for the lower cost.

Everything worked out great, all viable eggs hatched and I got all healthy chicks. I had two eggs that were not fertilized and the little flash light helped to identify these by candling. The humidity system, though simple, was sufficient to get humidity up in the last three days of incubating. Otherwise I didn’t have the bottle on at all during the first 18 days, but I would occasionally add some water if humidity dropped. Overall this is a great little incubator.

UPDATE Decided to incubate some of my eggs from our first hatch and the turner has stopped working. Sad to see that this was basically a one time use purchase as others have complained about the same problem. ORIGINAL I’ll start by saying I did a bunch of research and read a lot of reviews before attempting to hatch or first 12 quail eggs. This incubator worked extremely well and we achieved a 12/12 hatch in 16 days where I was expecting 18 day. Large healthy quails hatched. The humidity was a bit hard to manage but that is probably because I’m only 63m above sea level. Higher humidity also produced large healthy strong quail. 12 eggs fit well. I would feel comfortable with 16 quail eggs in there at once. Come next spring I will be hatching chicken eggs as well as quail eggs. I will plan better so that the eggs hatch on a weekend when I’m home so that the incubator isn’t short on space. Overall great product and easy to use and great value

I had some issues with my first unit and their support was exceptional and looked after me. It's rare to see this kind of customer care any more.

The first hatch worked very well and I was impressed. That all changed when I went to do my second hatch. The turner no longer works. It tries, but it’s like it doesn’t have enough power to move the insert. I reached out to the manufacturer about a month ago as I was willing to pay for additional parts to get it working again, and I have had no response. Very disappointed. Don’t waste your money.
