2 Large Mugs, 3/4 Pint,1/2 Litre Size. Hand Glazed in Cobalt Blue with White top.

These mugs were measured to be 450ml (filled to the rim). I was looking for large mugs as I already have 450ml supermarket mugs as well as a 500ml which is noticeably bigger so I was a little disappointed. These mugs also have larger than average handles.Saying that, for the price, they're very nice mugs. They have a chunky feel and a thick glaze. Even the handles are surprisingly comfy.If only they were bigger and the insides a lighter colour so I can gauge how long to brew a tea bag for (it's dark blue, the same as the outside). The top half colours are more blue than in the pictures which makes no difference to me.Can't really complain, these are great big mugs.

These mugs are sturdy enough for everyday use, where more delicate bone china could be chipped and cracked. I have to rely on other people to do the washing-up, and they do not always take the best care of my crockery and glassware. I can be reasonably certain that these mugs will stand up to a bit of a knock.The colours are striking too, the cobalt contrasting nicely with the paler blue. The colouring and simple abstract design are reminiscent of Japanese tea sets and sake cups.

A properly sized mug for my morning coffee. It feels good to handle, the oddly shaped handle works well, keeping your hand away from the hot mug. It also accepts your entire four fingers, something lacking on so many mugs.

I purchased these to replace my husband's existing 500ml tea mug. While they are very well made and nice colours they are not the size stated. On measuring the capacity to the brim they only hold 400mls (20% less), which is quite substantial to a dedicated tea drinker.

Bought set of 2 for my husband. I noticed one was cracked on the inside near the handle and just thought that it had got knocked but then noticed the other mug yesterday with same crack in the same place, coincidence? I don’t think so (only bought on 2nd may and too late to return.

I love these mugs they are well made and good and sturdy this is my second time I have bought them I would definitely recommend them highly really good for the price
