This bug zapper works well, is compact, is not very loud when it zaps a bug, lightweight, easy to install and the added light on the bottom is very helpful in certain situations. The mosquitoes are awful this year and did not want to use harmful chemicals to eliminate them. I purchased the bug zapper and right away it started to kill the mosquitoes! The zapper is very light and easy to handle and hang up. I used a shepherd's hook in the lawn and an outdoor extension cord. The zapper is compact compared to others I have seen. Should be easy to find a spot on a shelf in the garage to store it this winter. I'm actually going to buy a second zapper for my yard, and one for my neighbor as a birthday gift!

Over all, it does what it says it does. Great for use on the deck, and zaps the annoying biting bugs before they bite you. Plus, you can turn the lamp portion off, it is SUPER bright. My only thing is the cord. As you can see from the picture, the outlet isn't that far away, it's actually pretty close to the top of the wall. The hook was installed by a previous owner, it won't be hard to move over, but this is just to show HOW SHORT the cord is. For something that is "best hung up high" the cord certainly doesn't give you that option without using an extension cord. The first time we tried to use the zapper, it was at a different location and the outlet at a typical outlet height. The cord was over 2ft shy of reaching the outlet. Great product but the design needs a little help. Would still recommend, even got my mom buy one as well.

So, I got this as a prime day deal. When it arrived it looked so small. I wanted it for my hot tub area in the evening and night. The bugs had been relentless to the point where I couldn’t enjoy my hot tub. I didn’t think this tiny little baby sized bug zapper would work so I found a larger one and bought it. Well, I neglected to tell my wife so she had put it out and plugged it in. I cannot tell you how surprised I was! This zapper is about 6 feet away from my hot tub and is just absolutely mowing down all the bugs! I haven’t had a single mosquito even come close to me since we turned it on. Not to mention the joy of watching it constantly zap bugs into an an alternate dimension.Needless to say, I’ll be keeping this and returning the bigger one.

This thing KILLS insects. After several rainy weekends our garage was swarming with mosquitos. I hung this lantern up in the middle of the garage and after only a few days the bugs were gone! I put a picture of the catch tray for proof. It's bright, it attracts bugs, and it kills them with ease. Don't bother getting anything else. This is the real deal.

Efficient as attracting and zapping bugs enough to keep a 200 Ft area comfortable in the summer. To note, plug is short and you make need to concoct your own hanging system as it only comes with a single loop. Additionally, it needs to be frequently cleaned as the debris builds up inside. Overall efficient

Very good product the only reason that I gave 3 stars is because is not wireless

Purchased the product to rid the house of mosquitos. It does the job well. I keep it on and house is insect free. Not fond of the cracking noise when the insect is fried. Better than using chemicals, for sure.
