Wilton 303-3606 Grecian Cake Pillars, 7.6cm (3in) pack of 4, White

Used these for a wedding cake. They worked well and held the weight of the cake without any problems. We used 3 per tier. Remember to use dowelling and cut it to the top of the pillar to support the weight of the cake. Arrived in good time and in a box so they can be put away after use. White colour is proper white, no discolourations or marks. Also when using them, make sure they are all facing the same way to look nice.

Good product although one was badly moulded and therefore uneven. Luckily I only needed 3 for the very top layer of a wedding cake so this was not a problem to me. Would advise that you check the level of them before you try to use them as you would not want to get caught out on the day!

These are amazing! Very sturdy and held a lot of weight (6 inch cake with icing and decoration). We used a board underneath to avoid sinking. Would highly recommend.

Brought these pillars for a 2 tier traditional wedding cake. The cakes were both rich fruit cake and covered with marzipan and royal icing, the pillars successfully supported the top 6” tier, which was very heavy, without the need of the supports going through them, I was extremely pleased with them.I would think had they been sponge cake, covered with fondant, the supports would have been necessary.

These were super sturdy and I'm sure they would be perfect for their intended purpose: tiered cakes.But I cut them up with a hacksaw and used them to build a temple terrain piece for a D&D game at Worldcon Dublin 2019. Looked perfect.

Don't use these for cakes, use them as terrain for your D&D games!

I got these to to hold up extra shelving in my fridge, now I can’t go shopping twice a week

These are ok and look good but hollow in the centre which meant they was good for using in the middle of a cake had I had to use extra brace to support the cakes
