I wanted something small to carry to the living room to sew buttons on while I watch TV. I know I can depend on the strong needles that won't break and strong thread. That said, all the other items are quality as well. I have a larger sewing kit that I hated to use for just sewing on buttons, so now it will be used just for storage of more thread, etc.There is that issue of the pouch being kind of thin if you remove the plastic display tray. I just cut off part of the tray, leaving the portion that holds the thread. That seems to keep the thread more orderly.

This is good for light use sewers.

I got this for my daughter. It has all the things you need when starting to sew. And the colors were very cute and she was excited it all came in a carrying case.

I’m very impressed with this Singer sewing kit, it literally has everything you need! I’ve always loved Singer sewing products, they’re known for their high quality stuff, and this sewing kit is no exception. It comes in a nice carrying case, perfect for traveling as well. You could easily slip this kit in a suitcase with you because it’s so compact. The kit also comes with a pin cushion, needle threader, seam ripper, and tape measure. The scissors are also high quality, heavy duty scissors and are very sharp. The threads are great as well, not cheap at all, and I love the colors that are provided because they’ll match pretty much anything. Additionally, there’s a nice selection of needles to choose from. All the pieces in the kit are very nice quality! I love that this kit isn’t some cheap dollar store feeling sewing kit, I’m so happy to finally have a high quality, very pretty sewing kit! Talk about pretty, I love that everything matches and has a beautiful butterfly, flower pattern to it. It really is SO cute! I highly recommend this kit. It's perfect for all your sewing needs!

This small sewing kit has a cute colorful pattern on the case and on several of the sewing items. It includes all the sewing tools and threads I usually need when I need to make a fast repair. The case has a clear lid allowing you to see all the items inside so it looks nice. All the tools are good quality for a small kit of this kind, in particular the scissors which are better quality than I expected. The only negative feature is that these items are stored in a thin clear plastic molded storage tray. I initially thought this was supposed to be thrown away, as it is the type of flimsy plastic that is usually used just for keeping things from rattling around in a box during shipping. It looks and feels cheap, but it does help keep the tools organized. I subtracted a star for this – otherwise I am happy with it.

This sewing kit is so cute. The case, pin cushion, scissors and needle wrap all match - actually the included thread keeps with the color theme as well. It would be a great gift for anyone who loves butterflies (or the other one is tulips I believe) and sewing - or someone who needs a little starter sewing kit in case of emergency. You could fit 15, maybe 20, spools of thread and still have room for the rest of the items in a neat little case. Handy.
