so i ordered a single 'pair' of socks to try them out - looked warm, and skidding is a problem with all the wood and tiles etc in our house. so the 'socks' arrived. or should i say a single sock arrived. it did not say anywhere you will receive only one sock - i expected a pair. so i tried to contact the seller - only option was to return the 'sock' or replace - what am i going to do return my single sock to replace with another single sock? the whole experience was a waste of time. now i have to actually return it. i understand some people may only have one foot but i understood most people with artificial limbs (I am not one of them - i have the 2 working feet that i wanted to keep warm on tiles and wood) usually put their spare sock on their artificial limb. fwiw, the sock fit both of my feet well, i have wide feet, seemed warm and would work well if i was doing yoga in them.

I was excited to get a stylish and pretty pair of socks for Barre class. I just tried them on (they're very flimsy, so I was suspect and almost returned them immediately before trying on) and they were slipping around as I tried doing a plank in them at home before class. They don't do what they're intended to do. They also run very large (I'm a 7 and ordered the small). They're going back!

I just started taking barre classes and we were suggested to just wear socks. I was slipping all over the floor so ended up in my bare feet, which I did not like as it is the large area where all sorts of classes are held. So I went to my favorite Amazon, and after reading the reviews for your pretty but stable socks, I decided to try a pair. I used them for barre last week and they were perfect. Great fir for my 7 1/2 narrow foot, and the gripers did keep me from sliding. Several of the gals asked where I got them, so I referred them to Amazon. Forgot to mention that barre classes have just been introduced to our club so we are all learning. I would love to see them in colors as many reviewers said they loved to wear them around the house, but I don't necessarily want black, especially in summertime and shorts. A nude would be a great start.
