Cable Matters High Speed Micro HDMI Cable with Ethernet 3 Metres - 3D and 4K Resolution Ready

This was purchased to hook up an Asus T100 CHI to my TV as, even though I have a smart TV, no catchup app for Channel 5 is available for it. Headline is it works faultlessly. As you would expect with a cable, the packaging is minimal meaning this can be delivered straight through a letterbox - important if you are likely to be at work when it's delivered. The packaging had me concerned as it stated the cable was 6 feet long whereas it was advertised as 2m. Out came the tape measure and I can confirm it is 2m long. Initial impressions are that this is a reasonable quality product - it would easily look at home in John Lewis or Currys. The plugs come complete with dust caps which may well be thrown away but shows the manufacturer hasn't shaved every penny from their costs. The plug mouldings are a nice glossy black and include strain relief for the cable which looks effective enough. The design is modern and curved in appearance which adds to the premium look. The cable is flexible but maintains a slight stiffness, it will be flexible enough for 95% of cases, but don't expect to feed it through a small hole and then bend it at right angles straight away. The plugs have a nice positive feel when inserting, not too firm but not too loose. I can't comment on whether the Ethernet over HDMI works as I don't know if my devices support it and are either traditionally hardwired or networked wirelessly. Finally, please note that this is Micro HDMI and will not fit micro USB ports - I've seen a lot of reviews that complain it doesn't fit their phone or table. If you only have a micro USB charging slot on your device, and no other ports, this will not fit.

I use this lead to connect my Tablet to my TV, the picture quality is perfect and the lead is long enough that I have been able to run it unobtrusively around to the sofa. I can now sit on the sofa and control the tablet and watch the output on the TV. The socket is sensative to gross movement, waving the Tablet around or putting it down roughly can disturb the connection and stop the signal. I'm pretty sure this is due to the Tablet socket connection not the lead. I have kept the plastic end cap (fitted to the lead when supplied) and re-fit it to the Micro HDMI lead when I am not using it (as I leave the other end connected to the TV).

A very good quality cable which i had been looking for. I ordered the product on Saturday and it turned up the following Monday so an excellent speedy service to boot. Connected cable to TV from my Kindle fire HD and was delighted to see that the picture was of a very high quality. Great result..can now sit on my sofa and surf the internet on TV or watch a movie on big screen..well worth a tenner.!!!

Worked a treat for kindle fire HD, please check whether you have an output for these before you buy, not the sellers fault if it doesn't fit! Fed up of reading reviews about not fitting when it does as long as you check what version of kindle fire hd you have (mine has a smaller similar connector next to the usb style charger cable plug). Good quality cable other than that, really surprised at signal quality over a 3m cable, ordered a second one for the mother in law (yes being nice to the mother in law).

I don't like the direction durability wise USB and HDMI has gone. From solid full size connectors then basically getting more fragile with each upgrade. I've had loads of flimsy type C connectors and found that the old micro USB was more durable, and mini USB even more so. Same with HDMI. Mini HDMI was reasonable, but still very weak compared to the full size and I've had several adapters break. This made me think very carefully when buying a micro HDMI cable as I had even less hope of that lasting compared to mini HDMI. What many brands do wrong with type C and micro HDMI is focus on appearance on the outside of the shell of the connector. Often enclosing it in metal which is good in some cases, but not on a fragile connector like this where weight is a big disadvantage. The connector itself is often surrounded by very soft plastic on many brands cables and then after several insertions, the plastic just softens and then the HDMI/type C plug wobbles and breaks loose. This brand has taken the sensible approach. It doesn't look or feel expensive, but the connector is made of hard (maybe even a bit cheap feeling) plastic. Cheap feeling does not always mean bad. The connector feels very securely fixed in this housing and despite having an awful lot of use with my tablet and cameras, it is still a solid connection. With other HDMI and USB adapters, I've ended up putting a little superglue around the base of the connector and the housing as well as some hard setting heat shrink around the enclosure to stop it flexing and breaking in time. Some brands are that bad and just don't think about the way people will treat them. they won't last if they are made out of soft plastic housing.

Very good length and it works with Acer 8930C but unfortunately not with my Samsung Series 9. I guess it's just not compatible? I'm hoping I get help, otherwise marketing has not made it evident that the cable is only compatible with some laptops.

I found this to be an extremely well built cable that felt solid and was nice and thick not like cheap thin ones. Its the perfect length and I easily use my Transformer Prime from my sofa when connected to the TV. It also comes with little protectors for the connector ends which id handy when the cable is not in use. All in all, I would definitely recommend this cable to everyone.

Just got this lead for my new Kindle Fire HD. Works perfectly,full 1080p output and great sound! The 5m length means I can plug this into my Sony HD tv and sit with my Kindle and browse photos,watch films etc from my sofa! Please remember the Kindle Fire HD has the HDMI Micro connection and not the HDMI Mini connection. This lead also works with my Compact System HDMI camera that also has the Micro HDMI connection. Great price too!

Several months ago I bought a 6 foot cable that I have been using to connect my Kindle Fire HD 8.9 to my TV so that I can watch movies, etc. I thought that was the best thing since sliced bread since it gave me another reason to love my Kindle, until I realized that I would need to get up to pause whatever I'm watching since the cable wasn't long enough to reach from the TV to my couch so I have to leave the kindle near the TV and get up to pause, replay, etc. I recently purchased this 15 foot cable and am very glad that I did. It's long enough to reach from my TV to the couch so that I have my kindle near me when I'm watching something through it on the TV. The picture quality comes out fine through this cable and the cable material seems to be of perfectly good quality as well. I am happy enough with this cable that I have ordered a second one to attach to the TV in my bedroom so that I can watch stuff through my kindle in that room as well and not have to move the cable from one TV to another. The 6' cable will become the cable I take with me when I go places. I recommend this product - as it's a good product for a very reasonable price - many dollars less than what you would pay in many retail stores.

SONYのミラーレス一眼カメラα6400と、ATEM Mini Proをこちらのケーブルにつなぎ、YouTubeのライブ配信で使用しています。 SONYのα6400は3台あるので、3台ともこのケーブルでつないでますが、問題なく使えています。 画像が途切れたりすることはありません。 他メーカーの10mのケーブルも持っています。 が、こちらは配信中にプチプチと画像が途切れることがあります。 HDMIケーブルは、接続機材との相性の良し悪しがあったり、 また5m以上の長さは、画像の送信に不安定さがあるかもしれませんね。 いずれにせよ、こちらのケーブルは当方の機材、MacBook Air、SONYα6400、ATEM Mini Proでは問題なくライブ配信ができています。

Its a 1.4b which is pretty annoying.
