Works for plastic barrels for animal feed
This works well for unloading barrels of animal feed off the truck. Great farm tool. Used on plastic barrels with no problems. Each barrel weighs 370 pounds when full.

Works great! Used to move 55 gallon barrel of oil. Very secure and easy to use.

Works so well I bought another one for the other barrel. I use these to offload full fluid from the bed of a truck with an overhead winch. Works great, strong and I do recommend.

Good for feed barrels
Good for what I'm using it for. Lifting barrels of cow feed/corn off truck. Anything extremely heavy,IDK.

Works with 55 gallon plastic drums
I worried about usingvit with 55 gallon plastic drums, but so far it's doing just fine. The wide unfolded strap is an annoyance, but a good size shackle works.

works but not for everyday use
There is nothing bad to say about this drum strap system. It works well and is over engineered. Just understand it takes time to harness the drum and time to un-harness the drum. The large lifting strap is very secure. The lower cinch strap grabs well with very little risk of crushing the drum. The upper small control strap does the job of keeping the drum up right. The only mistake that people make using this system is not pulling the cinch strap and upper control strap tight enough. When pulling these staps tight you worry that you will crush the drum. This is not a problem, make the straps very snug.
