I really liked it because it also came with the probe and the gun. They both measured the exact same tempature. I actually got distracted after turning on the stove to hat up some oil. When I smelled it I of course freaked out and removed it from the burner. Out of curiosity I wondered at what tempature it would have burst into flames? So glad I still don't know but I can tell you the heat gun showed that oil was over 700 degrees! Somebody was definitely looking over me that night.. Great product. Great price and I would definitely buy it again. All my kids keep trying to talk me out of it so I guess I will be buying 4 more for Christmas.

Ease of use.

The thermometer is easy to read and use; it's intuitive. The multipoint laser allows me to accurately read the bed of the oven in different places. It will easily convert between Celsius and Fahrenheit.

The media could not be loaded.  I believe this unit ( mestek infrared thermometer 800c) is accurate enough according to the ThermPro thermometer with all the same features. I really like it and it comes with a carry case and meat thermometer.

Very inaccurate. Do not recommend using for a/c work. Probe is even more inaccurate than the IR. Would not recommend.

For around home and in the kitchen this is great. If you understand that at 10(may be less or more) feet this is averaging a 12 inch diameter circle it helps you correct the outcome of what your temperature is. If you want the average area to be 6 inches in diameter at 30 feet, be prepared to shell out the big bucks. I have two of these, one for each RV dedicated to the kitchen. Perfect place for it.

I purchase this item as an alternative for a pyrometer probe that can be difficuly to use in tight spaces on injection and compression molds. It will read accurately if you paint a section on the mold frame black but my intentions were to use it on the polished cavity were the temp matters most. This is where the plastic or thermoset plastic is molded hence it usually has a polished or chrome finish. This device will read anywhere from -30F to -50F the actual temperature. Hopefully it will work for others in different applications, but definately not reccomended for mold processing and data gathering.

Produit sympa thermomètre infrarouge fais le job.Je trouve une différence de 1 à 2 degrés entre le thermomètre à aiguille et le thermomètre à infrarouge.Lequel a raison je pense celui à aiguille que l'on plonge directement dans la source de chaleur.Mais ça reste un bon produit

En comparaison avec un mesureur de marque professionnelle, la température mesurée est au moins 2 degrés supérieurs. Non fiable.

prima apparaat, compleet. Helaas is tasje erg krap. Want daar past niet ook nog eens de aparte sonde in en de noodzakelijke gebruiksaanwijzing i.v.m. de instellingen.
