Dove Advanced Care Go Fresh Pomegranate Scent Anti-perspirant Deodorant pack of 6 with Triple Moisturising technology roll-on for 48 hours of protection 50 ml

I purchased this pack as I couldn't buy locally at various outlets. I have sensitive skin, so I have to be careful what I use. Didn't realise there was lemon, but the smell was really nice and would re-order when I need to.

I normally use the original Dove (the blue one) as I appreciate the Advanced Care brand which is one of the few anti-perspirants that doesn’t irritate my skin. Despite not being labelled as ‘sensitive’, it is, for me at least. And while it doesn’t show it in the product photos currently, this pomegranate version is also Advanced Care, meaning that it’s also good news for my skin, and I get the same satisfying results from this as I do from the original version.To use, it’s just as good. The roll-on is nice and convenient, and starts up straight away without any faff. It distributes the product evenly as you roll it over your skin, and it’s easy to control. The longevity of it is great, and it really does last all day for me, provided I haven’t been over-doing it on the sports. The small 50ml roll-ons are incredibly convenient for a bag or backpack, and with a pack of six, you can even stash one somewhere like the glovebox of your car for those moments when you suddenly realise you need it.The pomegranate scent is lovely. It’s pretty much what I expected it to be- sweet, fruity, and just a little exotic- and it’s not too dissimilar from a bunch of other bathroom products. But it carries with it the clean and fresh feeling that I also get from the original type, then adds a little extra to it as well.At the current asking price of seventeen quid for six small roll-ons, it may seem a little steep for value initially, but each roll-on is going to last ages for sure. So I’m really happy with it.

I tend to go for dry sticks for my deodorant since the wet roll-on ones stay wet and sticky for so long, but these ones actually dried in relatively quickly and were not sticky at all afterward. The scent is lovely as well. Small and easy to bring with you whether it's the gym, a weekend away or on holiday.

This set of x6 50ml roll on deodorants by Dove arrived in a cardboard box which is easily broken down for recycling. I received the pomegranate scented roll on from Dove’s advanced care range but it also comes in white freesia (the invisible dry), cucumber, original, passion fruit and coconut.I normally use Dove’s original roll-on deodorant anyway and this revised deodorant comes in new reduced plastic packaging (20% less) and personally I thought that the roller itself was actually easier to apply than the original so it is a definite improvement. Dove also uses 100% recycled plastic for its new deodorant packaging which is fantastic.This deodorant offers 48-hour protection and I could still smell it after 36 hours so it certainly lasts. The deodorant also feels gentle on my skin even after shaving, without any adverse reactions, and it doesn’t contain any alcohol so won’t unnecessarily sting your skin. It definitely leaves my underarm skin feeling soft and moisturised due to the three moisturisers in the formula. The formula is also certified as cruelty free by PETA and is not tested on animals which is very important to me.The scent is pomegranate and lemon verbena which I found particularly nice. I often found myself thinking what is that nice smell and then realising that it was this deodorant! Priced at £17.12 at the time of reviewing (£2.85 for each roll-on deodorant stick), I do think that the Dove pomegranate is a lovely scent and works well at both moisturising and protecting my skin – I would definitely repurchase and recommend.

This is a good value pack of Dove deodorant. The scent is lovely, fresh but not overbearing so if you sweat it doesn't produce an intense smell. I wore it all day at work, in the heat and there was no sweat through my top and no bad smell. Results wise I'm very pleased as it does what it promises. At the end of the day my top still had the fresh scent under the armpit area and no white streaks. It is also hydrating. My previous deodorant left my armpits dry. So this will now be replacing my old deodorant.I just wish they could make deodorants this good without aluminium. This obviously has aluminium in the ingredients, feel free to do your own research about aluminium in deodorants and the risks. I'm using this because I'm yet to discover a deodorant without aluminium that actually works (I've tried lots!). Overall I recommend it for the great results and the value pack!
