I saw where someone said this shave soap is hard to lather. Not sure why, because I can get a great, slick lather that works perfectly with my Leaf razor for head shaves. I do believe the Leaf Razor Company know there stuff. Great price….long lasting, slick soap. If you are a head shaver you want slick shave soap. Trust in the Leaf Razor Company.

I’ve never tried a shave bar, but have wanted to for awhile. So when this came up, I decided to pull the trigger.Normally, I just use shave gel. This doesn’t lather up nearly as much as a gel or cream. It lathers up fairly decently, but it takes some work and I expected more. The lather is very similar to my normal bar soap I use in the shower. At $14, I can’t see why it’s any better than using normal soap in the shower for both.The shape, circular and concave on one side, makes it easy for using with a lathering brush….which I don’t have. For lathering in your hands, it’s a little awkward new because of the size. Over time as it’s used more, it will be much easier though.I love the concept though. Zero packaging. I do end up with a good shave and it doesn’t dry out my skin. Not sure if I would order again for the price though.

I love this, it is much better than the can that spits out chemicals. I cannot think of a single downside. I've been shaving for decades, how did it take me so long to figure this out?

Originally purchased this directly from the Leaf when I bought my razor, but I was happy to see it available through Amazon, it is so much more convenient to restock.This shave soap is my favorite and definitely my go-to. A little goes a long way and one of these will last you a while. I shave daily and only need to replace it every few months; for the price you cant beat it. I have sensitive skin and this is great. Very gentle but super effective. It lathers up really well and lets me get a nice smooth and clean shave. Glides very well and leaves my face feeling nice and smooth. I also like that it is scent free so that it doesn't clash with whatever aftershave or cologne I choose to wear.This is a no-brainer for me. Affordable and effective, no need to look elsewhere.
