I must admit that when I ordered this string I paid little attention to where it was actually coming from. I did think it was taking rather a long time to arrive and was thinking of contacting amazon . The very next day a parcel arrived from Europe with a European customs stamp.The price however was in US$.and oon checking I discovered that it was originally posted in the US and in fact, made there in New Rochelle NY10881. Dont we make string anymre?

Posh name for a simple product
It's string - you know - the old fashioned stuff we used to wrap up Christmas presents with! Don't know why it's so relatively expensive though.
