Our PRD blew when we installed a different showerhead on our electric shower, this seems to be very common. Nice and easy to replace... the instructions are clear and simple to follow. It is wise to replace both the ball and the O-ring even if it is just the ball that seems to be "out". I also replaced the shower hose washer whilst I had the hose disconnected.

Having previously paid a plumber to replace the PRD I knew that it was a straightforward job. When I searched for the PRD I found this product and it seemed a cost effective alternative to buying a new PRD. It arrived quickly and I was surprised at the size of these, they're like peppercorns. The instructions were easy to follow and I fitted the rubber ball. I tested the shower as recommended without the shower head and it appeared to have worked. However when I replaced the shower head the pressure valve went again. I repeated the process, tried it without the shower head and it appeared to have worked again but when I lifted the hose above the level of the shower unit, the valve leaked. I have now ordered a new PRD which I should have done in the first place and hopefully it will solve the problem.

Bought this device to repair my Triton Shower which had stopped working and just pouring out water from below the unit.Took literally just few minutes to fix, following the instructions provided - The Shower is now fully working like new with no longer any issues at all!Cant recommend high enough the value of the spares provided in this pack! - also having a few more spares available from the pack should the same issue ever happen again.

Our Triton shower objected to one of the settings on a newly purchased shower head which activated the pressure relief device. The device is basically a tiny round rubber ball which blows out under excess pressure and then washes down the shower plug hole. On receipt the replacement balls don't look like much but, believe me, they represent the cheapest way to get your shower working again and are easy to fit.
