If you have a large dog, it's the best option for small spaces, no additional storage option or you just don't want to look at a separate ugly storage container. It holds a 25 pound bag of food with another 10 pounds to spare!The quality of workmanship is worth every penny! After seeing the reviews on the lid, I was apprehensive. But there's a trick! You have to pull up very slightly on the lid when you first go to pull it out and it's perfect. The lid slides smoothly where even if there is water in the dish, it doesn't spill. I also love how you can operate it with one hand.The instructions are easy to follow and it was put together in 10 minutes. The wood is thick and coated which will make it extremely easy to clean.The liner that comes with it is heavy duty and works like a ziploc bag. It isn't a requirement to have it inside the container but it helps to keep down on the crumbs from the food. The slide is not a very good quality as it came right off as we unzipped it and would not stay on after multiple attempts to reattach it. This was not a deal breaker by any means, as it just makes it easier and quicker to access the food.The stainless steel bowls are thick and sit on a rubber opening to prevent leakage.The style seems as it would go with any decor from rustic to modern. I have already recommended this to other dog families I know! It is a MUST HAVE!

This is the BEST dog food feeder on the market!!! I already bought one a few years back for my 2 dog's. I used the bowls for feeding, they had a separate water dish. However, they were Male and Female dogs,so there wasn't any issues with fighting. But my female (Scarlett) died @13 1/2yrs. A few months back. So I ended up with a Male puppy. The older one was already starting to growl feeding together, and this is a 4 month old pup & being Male, there would be dominant issues. So I bought another one,for the puppy. Didn't want the chance of any fights. They are really FANTASTIC!! The top slides so you can put the dog food in it, also.comes with a plastic zip bag. and has a lock. Unlike some out there, the slider is all one piece with BOTTOM, so if your dog is able to remove bowls they CAN'T get to the food. I can't say enough good things about it!! But if you're looking for a cheap price, they are a bit more expensive. But usually on sale. It's definitely worth the money, this feeder will last forever. It's NOT made of wood, but some kind of plastic, you wouldn't know it by looking at it, cause it looks like wood grain. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT!!!I'M ADDING ON TO MY FIRST REVIEW!I DON'T understand the bad reviews! These are FANTASTIC dog feeders! I now have 3 dog's and bought another one for him. Of course they have to match :) He was eating in a different kind than the( 2 )I have. Dog's are very receptive, he always watched the other two when they all ate. I thought this can't be really what I'm seeing. So I bought our new guy the same one. When he saw his was the same (believe it or not) it was like a whole different dog eating his food. They all know their own food dishes with no one stealing the others. I've never had any issues with water seeping down into the food. The WHOLE TOP is one solid piece. I don't FILL them up with water, because i have BIG separate water containers as much as 3 dog's drink. I put some in, incase they want a drink while they're eating. So if it bothers you about the water dish,get a different water container and then if you're not satisfied with how much the bowls hold, use both of them. There is always a solution, if you're not satisfied with the plastic bag, find a bigger one and wrap the top so air won't get in. I STILL HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS FOOD DISH AND THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL

I purchased this about a month ago with the plan to make my dog food storage less 'noticeable'. I spent about 15 minutes assembling it and it works well with my decor and holds a 30 pound bag of dog food (which really surprised me). The slide to access the food moves well but I would recommend removing the water bowl before you slide it (to prevent splashing). At least, until you get used to how it moves. It's easy to wipe clean, the bowls wash up well. The bag provided is not terribly sturdy, but I am still using the bag and will change it eventually. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase.

I have had raised feeders before, and never felt comfortable actually putting the dry food into the feeder and instead always kept it in an airtight container. This feeder actually does fit the entire bag of dog food. The feeder comes with a plastic bag with a zip loc closure. I can see where the bag might not hold up. If that is the case, I will get a space bag to replace it. Now on to the container. Extremely easy to put together. Someone compared it to a puzzle, and I get that analogy. It contains only 4 screws. It is also sturdy. Sturdy enough to actually use it for dog food!! Finally, it looks nice. I bought the brown as put it in my dining area. It fits well, and I am so pleased with it's appearance!!

Great for raising my dog's food and water bowl. Perfect height. Easy to assemble albeit plastic screws, but they'll do. The storage space is more limited than it looks. The zipper on the provided bag broke on the first slide so I had to fold it over. Looks fine, and is functional, but not the quality I expected.

We have a labradoodle, and it’s the perfect height. I love that you can store the food right under the bowls. However, be careful with the water when opening, it will spill.

I always research my purchases before buying on Amazon- I was excited to get this for our dog, I especially liked the price point, storage, & product material. However. When it arrived, there was no hardware included in the box and when my husband attempted to fit the sides together to see how it'd look, one of the sides had an edge break off. Certainly too fragile for a household with a toddler.Not even interested in exchanging to try again, will be returning asap.

Got the brown dog feeder and it’s great! Perfect height for my Great Dane and the added bonus of it storing dog food underneath has been awesome. I love that it slides open and her dish is right there for easy meal time. The latch is nice too and she’s able to nudge it open otherwise. It does come with a good bag inside and it’s been great thus far. Would recommend

East to assemble, perfect size for the space i wanted it in , Very well-made and very happy with it!

Great idea and was easy to put together and keep clean.The food bag that comes with it. Seal does not work well. Not sure if it the bag I got is defective or not.The price was a bit high for me but I see this lasting so hopefully worth it.It is really nice and I do recommend it

Product came in easy packaging. My 12 year old Daughter put it together in about 15 minutes.My dog loves it, no more picking up her food, and moving to a new spot to eat. The Bag inside for the food is not very sturdy, I will use it as long as it lasts. The lid moves easily, just remember to take out the water dish before you do, makes a little splash. I would definitely buy this again.

The media could not be loaded.  The product was easy to assemble, it was very clearly laid out in the instructions. It came with a storage bag that you can hold a decent amount of food in it. The storage box can hold a lot within it as well. Everything lines up on the mechanical side of it. The raised feeding tray is good for digestion and easy access for my American Bulldog. It’s very sturdy and easy to access, it’s very easy to clean after he’s done eating or drinking water. One downside is that the water bowl and the feeding bowl are on the smaller side. Not so much of an issue for the feeding but if your dog drinks a lot of water like mine you’re going to be filling it up more often then a larger bowl. But that’s really insignificant when you’re looking at the functionality of the product itself. It matches my Decour in the house in the kitchen. Overall so far it’s been a great investment and I’ll keep you updated on how everything else goes with it over time.
