The Andy Warhol Diaries Edited by Pat Hackett (Penguin Modern Classics)

Fascinating
My old copy, which was the American hardback version, fell apart due to over-use. The diary is packed with famous names (even Michael Jackson appears but the irony is that Warhol hardly seemed to realise that he was a bigger and more enduring name than almost any of them. This edition thankfully has an index.

Disgusting quality, it damages the Penguin brand. Shoddy workmanship and quality control.
Shocking quality. At least 5 chapters of book had pages that had not been cut resulting in all pages stuck together in one lump. Had to cut them all open with a sharp knife. What a mess. Really is not the quality I would expect from a new penguin product. Very disappointed.

Oh my.
A very entertaining book indeed, and you never get fed up with it. I read my previous copy from the 90s so much, it fell apart. This was a replacement I had been meaning to get for some years.

Warhol musings.
An interesting but also at times overly verbose view of life a la Warhol. Good for skipping in and out of.,for amusement !
