Is this the Engage sub monitor kit that is needed for tracking my solar panel generation?

Yes. In theory. It should clip on to the cable at the solar generation meter. I have set mine up and can see it on the screen but it gives me a zero reading as I have a ground mounted solar system in the garden so the wireless signal is too far away. If your solar meter is in house near you consumer meter then it should be fine.

Does it go around the live or the bundle of live/neutral/earth? Can the information from multiple sensors be shown on one website?

Like the standard energy monitors, this is for "whole house" monitoring and must be clipped around the live (positive) cable only. Please note this is not a complete energy monitor, it is an additional transmitter and sensor for use with the Efergy Engage hub.If used with an Engage Hub, you can see each phase.Hope that helps
