I've been using this still for years. I put it in my coffee every morning and it dissolve completely without lumps. Its totally tasteless and very effective in helping my aging skin, keeps me hydrated, I have an Autoimmune deficiency and this is very helpful with pain relief in all of my joints. The texture is a very fine powder. This has been a life saver, I love this stuff.

This product is great! I put a scoop in my coffee in the morning- there is absolutely no strange aftertaste- it dissolves perfectly. Every once in a while- there will be a very small glob that doesn't dissolve, but it is easily addressed with a mash of a spoon to the inside of the glass. Prior to using this collagen I had tried another brand that is very popular and used by many- but, it gave me an allergic reaction. This one has given me no allergic reactions or issues- i have recommended this product to quite a few people and everyone has been pleased just as i have been.

My daughter raved about this stuff. She said that it helps with her joints and muscles, especially since she works out every day. She ran out of it for about 10 days and she said you can really feel the difference. She also said it helps with her perimenopause symptoms, not as many hot flashes. She said she also sees a big difference in her hair and small difference in her skin and nails. She said it takes aout 2 weeks to really start feeling it.So, I gave it a try and ordered it. I have MS and spinal issues. I haven't had it for the 2 weeks yet, so can only tell you about the taste and how well it dissolves. Do not put it in cold liquids, it tends to make a disgusting tasting gloppy mess. She puts her's in her coffee, so I tried that. It mixes well in coffee. It totally dissolves and with my splenda and coffee creamer, it only has a light taste that you get used to pretty quickly.Note: I did try it for about 10 days earlier when my allergies were bad and it made them worse. It doesn't have any drug interactions, but did say it can raise histamine levels. So I went off of it until my allergies were under better control. I'm on 3 different allergies meds every day, with occasional Benadryl added to the mix so I could be an anomaly. My daughter has had no problems on it. So now I'm trying it again and will let you know.

I was using a different brand which was either Type 1 or 3. Not sure but I didn't see any improvment in skin, nails or hair so, based on ratings, thought I'd try this one as it provides all 4 types of collagen. I do not notice any taste when added to my morning coffee. Only issue I have with it is it doesn't dissolve as well as the other collagen. I need to either whisk it or stir when adding to liquid. Otherwise happy with the purchase and higher price is offset by much smaller scoop. Haven't been taking it long enough to see if it helps with my nails.... I'll report back in a few months.

I actually got this to help with hair and nail growth but it also has helped with minor joint aches. Most mornings I stir a scoop into my 2nd cup of coffee - black with sugar. I can't taste the difference between the first and second cup. It stirs in easily. If I get the occasional lump - from dumping too fast - it's not a problem to break up and stir.Beyond the healthier hair, nails and joints, I've noticed an improvement in skin - better color and elasticity, decrease in wrinkles, most noticeable on face, neck, hands and forearms. I've noticed zero digestive reaction.I've been taking for about 45 days or so and look forward to this as part of my daily supplement regiment for future.

This is a great product! My husband and I are on our second month of daily hot drink with a scoop of this collagen and we are loving the results! Less joint pain and hair on the bathroom floor! We intend to stay on it. We prefer unflavored.

While it claims to have no flavor you definitely can smell and taste that it’s from animal collagen no matter what you put it in. The gamey- ness comes through. Maybe if it’s mixed in with something savory like soup it might taste better.

I have been using this brand of collagen for about 1.5 or so, maybe longer, but I would always buy the bag with magenta on the bottom which I believe only included 2 types of collagen. I decided to try this one, no turning back. There IS a difference. I have not finished the bag as of yet ,midway and already feel the difference in my skin. Overall, has never looked so hydrated. (I'm 48) I'm just so excited. I have hard water and always moisturize immediately after I shower, My skin feels soft without lotion. The skin on my face also feels more supple. I'm so impressed by that part alone that it's worth spending a little more on this bag. I can't wait to see if it helps with joint pain but so far the skin benefits are absolutely there.
