CROSSFranklin Covey Freemont Ballpoint Pen/Mechanical Pencil 0.9 mm Lacquer Red

Great Value for money; love this pair. Beautiful translucent red colour and weighs just right and not cheap feel, although I felt these a tiny bit thinner for my hand writing than expected, but that is just me. I love fairly chunky feel so..I would fully recommend these, and no hesitation in buying the set as a gift.

Both Pen and Pencil broke within two weeks of purchase - will not hold together - Total waste of money

Poor product.. pens fell apart within a couple of months of use.

目黒氏購入動機は筆圧が高いので芯径の太いシャープで品のある製品を探していて発見した１）動機に対してシャープは十分期待に応える　　製品であった　シャ−プの芯も独自の機構で　　しっかりホールドされ、ブレが無く芯折れなど　　も起こらず使い心地は最高である　　２）外装のワインレッドは高級感があり、重厚な　　製品となっている３）本品は利用上に不具合が生じた時に永久補償を　　名実共に実行しているクロスの製品であることが　　見えない大きな価値である３）不満は他の同類の製品と比較して効果ではないが、　　若干の抵抗を感じながら、ボールペンとセットでなければ　　手に入らないこと４）シャープの一番の不満は、替芯が大きなボディーの割には　　内部に１本も保存出来ないことである　　これでは、芯が折れなくても最後近傍では別途替芯を　　持ち歩かねばならないことを意味して、実質芯折れと　　同じ結果となる　　これらを踏まえて、満足度は４となった５）その後、設計上の不具合が発生していることを確認したので　　４）までの評価を修正します　　　芯の上下の遊びがあることが解り、クロスに問い合わせた所　　　在庫にも同様な症状が確認され、基本的設計と見られるとして　　　本国に問い合わせている　　　結果は、後日報告するが、クロスは斯様に保証に関しては　　　誠実である事は別件でも経験が有り、評価出来るともあれ、現時点で星マークの評価はペンディングである以上

I like the fact that this pencil comes with thicker lead than most. I am hard on my pencil and I like this one. Some found the pen to be 'scratchy' mine is fine. I would buy this again.

While the pen | pencil set looks very nice, the instruments are very rough and uncomfortable writers. I suppose you get what you pay for as the set was inexpensive but for a Covey product, I expected better quality... regardless of the price.I do not recommend if you anticipate writing with ease as these are definitely "Rough Writers".
