Birds Choice 8oz. Hummingbird Feeder

Is the bottom clear acrylic/plastic??

Hardly any use! I see them perch on it & look around confused, even peck around some & look confused. I'm sure they're not stupid why?

My 8oz hummerfest feeder top turned opaque after a dishwasher cycle. can it be replaced by birds choice?

are nectar guard tips available for this feeder. I bought this feeder and bees are all over it. Other feeder with guard tips help
