Foldable Wireless Charging Dock for Fire HD 10 Plus/Fire HD 8 Plus, Only compatible with Fire HD 10 Plus 11th/ 8 Plus generation/Paperwhite Signature Edition, Gcstnn Fast Wireless Charging Stand.

I was a bit apprehensive about ordering this as the reviews of it were a bit mixed, but I have to say that so far it's working out great so I thought I'd add my own thoughts. Ihad none of the problems with the power supply that others seem to have suffered, and it worked perfectly right away. It's obviously hard to be sure but the charger feels better quality than a lot of cheap USB chargers I've seen, and no obvious heating etc. - possibly they've update what is supplied with the stand.Charging performance is more than adequate for our purpose (a Fire HD8 Plus more or less dedicated as a media controller for our Plex system, along with other home automation apps). I can't comment on whether putting the tablet in a case would have an effect, but you do have to take the tablet several millimetres away from the stand before charging stops.It also interacts well with features such as Show Mode, switching to this as the tablet goes back into the charging station - I guess this is more down to the tablet than the charging station, but does work well for our use case.I'd only note a couple of minor issues that may be an issue to other potential buyers:1) If you're concerned about the power supply issues others have had with this item and are considering using the Amazon supplied charger with the stand then you might want a longer USB A -> USB C cable as the one that comes with the Fire tablet is quite short and you can't use the one that comes with the stand as this is USB C -> USB C.2) If you're really picky on the aesthetics, the stand is a bit taller (10mm or so) than a docked Fire HD8 Plus in landscape (width perfect), and much wider than the tablet in portrait mode so it does stick out above the tablet a little bit - probably perfect for the HD10 though. Overall though, the slim profile and ability to change the viewing angle won me over on how it looks compared to the 'official' wireless charging dock.

Realy nice stand and charging works well with the orginal Fire power supply. Unfortuately the power supply supplied with the stand was faulty but seller promptly offered to replace so great customer service as well to resolve.

This dock is a quality item and markedly cheaper than the Amazon own item, it does exactly as required. Good looking, but can get a little bit warm in operation.Further to the original review, I have had this docking stand for a couple of months and the power supply charger that came with the unit has stopped working. Although the listing on Amazon displays that the product has 12 month manufacturer warranty, there is no way to contact the seller, the link to the supplier doesn't work. Leaving me with a charging stand that is now worthless, unless I purchase another power supply charger. ( If Gcstnn - the seller reads this please get in touch or send me another power supply charger)In light of this failure of the docking stand, I have revised my star rating for now - watch this space to see if I get any responce from the seller to rectify this issue.Postscript: the seller did contact me and has sent me a new power supp!y charger, which allows the wireless stand to work correctly. Good job seller, very happy.

It does not charge kindle in any form no matter which power supply is used not fit for purposeIt does not charge any kindle 10 no matter what power supply is used rubbish

my kindle 8 Fire plus did not fit with its case, took it out, that is not easy, and still did not fit into the groove in the base.The charger crackled when turned on, then nothing. I tried the cable direct to my Kindle, that did not work either.. Have returned the item and ordered a simple charging cable.

Works fine and will take both hd8 and hd10. Can take a bit of fiddling to get the tablets to start charging though compared to the genuine Amazon one.

As title, refuses to charge a Fire HD 10 that I purchased in the last few days.I'd be surprised if it charged anything tbh.
