I bought this mat and it’s matching pillow over a month ago.Since, it has been patiently waiting for me to have the time and valor to try it (can’t blame me with all the reviews and YouTube videos speaking about how painful it is at first).Last night I dimmed my lights to a soft warm light, burned some sage, played some crystal bowls chakra chants, and laid on my mat for a 50 minute meditation.Hence, I believe that if you create the correct environment and embrace the mat and its contact on your skin without directly thinking about any sensations felt (initial feelings, tingling, or heat) you get to enjoy the mat without feeling any pain at all!I personally did not reach the point where one feels as if they’re melting on the mat (I was looking forward to this feeling).However, this may be because although I’m petite my arms did not fully “fit” on the mat, and my legs where completely outside. I remember laying there thinking… I wish I had another pillow under my legs and a wider and longer mat to rest my whole body on.Therefore, I highly recommend this mat and pillow, however would like it and rate it much higher if it was a full-body experience!For now, due to the cost of buying two more mats and one more pillow (to place a mat beside mine for width and another and the pillow for under my legs) I will continue my Shakti meditation daily whilst thinking…Is there another good-quality company that offers a mat big enough for the whole body?Or, is there any chance of making these longer and wider Shakti? 🙏🏼

My partner bought this Matt and I was sceptical first but the minute I stepped onto it I was amazed by the sensation you got it’s like so relaxing and confusing at The same time I’m not in pain thankfully, but I can imagine if someone’s in pain It would be very helpful.

Made the mistake of buying a cheap replica, well the spikes aren’t sharp enough on the replica but the shakti mat is a lot sharper & reading this you probably think that’s a bad thing but it isn’t. Shakti really is the best on quality. Wish they sold a level 3 on Amazon though. Shakti if your reading this please will you sell level 3 mat & pillow on here please?

Not used as much as I would like but love this. At first you think oh blimey that’s uncomfortable but the more you lay on it the more acceptable it becomes, actually fell sleep. Try it on your bed it’s a bit more forgiving. Great quality, rolls away easy ( I should have bough the neck pillow too) I bought the black one which was a great choice

Heard about this via work (as part of self care in the role I wrk in) I already meditate but this has been a game changer. It focuses the mind (I went in for the full 20 mins lying on a bare back straight away but that’s not everyone) and has definitely improved my very poor sleep.

Was expecting this to be more uncomfortable, based on reviews saying the first 5 minutes can be sore. I've only found it relaxing from the outset. Pointy, but in a good way. Tempted to get the level 2 or 3 now! Wanted it for my back. So heating and soothing. It came with a name tag for the Indian lady that crafted it, and a QR barcode to learn more. I'm really impressed.

I've left a little while to write this review. Now while it takes a little getting used to its incredible, it's now a part of my night time routine and my back is feeling so much better. I'm ready to level up!

My hubby kept mentioning this type of acupressure mat as a means for us to relax and try at home. He is a physiotherapist and always looking for ways to be proactive with his body. This mat has not disappointed. I got him the level one and it works great. He tried it, then I tried, then all my friends have tried. Once you get beyond the first few minutes of it being uncomfortable it’s oddly relaxing and brings a lot of blood flow to the areas it’s laying pressure to. I’m VERY satisfied and we use it almost daily.

I bought this for my husband and he LOVES it. It's really good quality and is major stress reliever for him.

I have used this regularly since purchasing it earlier this summer (3-7 times per week). No doubt this helps with relaxation and sleep.I would (and have) recommend anyone looking to sleep better use the Shakti.

I am practicing Jiu Jitsu 4 times a week and have muscle strains on my back and neck on a regular basis. I purchased this mat as an experiment to see if there will be any improvement to my pain. I am laying on this for about 8 minutes before and after my workouts and I noticed significant decrease in back pains due to muscle strain.I also started lying on it 8 minutes a day during my lunch break since I am sitting/standing at my desk all day, and find that it helps relax and clear my mind since I am focusing on the tingling of my back instead of anything else.Next step would be to purchase the pillow.

The media could not be loaded. I slipped on some stairs and hurt my back so I’ve been using it for that and it has helped a lot - it has reduced the dull pain that I was feeling on a daily basis. It’s a tad uncomfortable when you first start (like it says) but then the warmth comes and you just relax - I like to do it while watching a tv show or movie. Level one was perfect for starting out. Gets the job done!
