This was very inspirational and clearly shows the truly Ordinary Sacred - is an Ordinary Path of what comes from within a sacred place called the heart. The power from within! I think many would benefit from this heartfelt wisdom and bring cheer to the heart of many families, military members abroad, during these turbulent times...I have shared this with my family members and friends, and quoted passages. When written from the heart like all of your writing that I have read how could this not change a needed direction? Yet leaves you like the wind to move through the foundation of "Four"...Walk with the wind Kent and thank you for the difference your words have made in my life, along with so many other's for sure! Your books have brought back many cherished memories of the lessons of wisdom, we sometimes forget in the rush of life today, which we sponges soak up! I had a dream that something was missing in the rush of life and here today is this book I have held closely gift!Four simple but often forgotten words today!Thank You God Bless

I bought several books by this author because I found one of his writing's soul enhancing a few months ago. Yet this book caught me off guard. It took me into deep areas of feelings I didn't expect. I found I couldn't read it as light reading. It's helped me to realize the depth to which rituals and the everyday are gifts for the soul.

I believe that because of Mr. Nerburn I have discovered my life's purpose. In seeing the Sacred in the Ordinary happenings of my life!! Each day has lessons to be learned and shared with others I meet, whether they be strangers, friends or members of my larger "family".I have several of Kent's books and am hooked so much that I intend to read every one of them!! Thank-you Kent for appearing in my life as a Guide. I see. now a Sacred purpose to my presence in this World.I

I appreciated the reminder that life which is going on all around us all the time is sacred. Wake up!

Kent Nerburn writes about the sacred beauty to be found in the ordinary in a lyric, heart touching way. His short, inspiration stories and reflections are helpful in my sermon preparation. A lovely, lovely book!

what a precious book about finding the sacred in everyday life, about standing back, taking a deep breath and really being aware of the small yet very special things all around you…nerburn's language could not be simpler or more direct, yet it is also lyrical….this one makes a very nice gift, as it is so heartwarming.

First, let me say that I have really enjoyed Nerburn's writings, especially those focusing on Native American issues. The stories in this somewhat precious book are sincere and sometimes moving. They utterly lack any sense of irony, which I found unfortunate. But I did have some deeper discomfort with his consistent assertion of God's reality and the association of faith with fulfillment. This won't be a problem for traditionally religious readers, but it could be for those who are less traditional.

Beautiful stories, loved my father’s tool box and the boy who wouldn’t leave. Thank you Kent! Gave a number as gifts!

Kent Nerburn is a writer of Wonderful words.He never fails to entertain regardless of the topic.His Trilogy of The Red Indian Life and thoughts should be read by ALL.This is more a book of Religious thoughts, but still Very readable.

This is a beautiful book that everyone if given the chance should read, it's inspirational and down to earth. The insights and wisdom are like a breath of fresh air to guide one at the beginning of each new day.

I love Kent Nerburn's writing.....profound and poetic; spiritual, and deeply feeling insights into the stuff of everyday life. This one and the others he has written have inspired me so much. Perfect books for meditation.
