Great little work book. Covers practically all of the curriculum for Year 2. My daughter found this useful when practicing at home, the stuff she didn't understand very well in class.

Purchased this maths book for my six year old great grandson who visits me each week. He is so keen to work from this book when he arrives and really loves working out the maths.

I can’t really stand the school and result-ratrace that young children are exposed to these days.In all honesty, as a kid I was too easily distracted and I only started to show some serious interest in education when I was 19 years old and got a very long way after that, when many, more serious students started to derail after years of discipline and self-constraint.Anyway, this is a good book to help young children practice maths and not only teach them the basic theory but also to test the knowledge in practice with actual questions and problems.My son was hard pushed at first to work from this, much dreaded book. But with patience and some help he has stared to make good progress.And I must admit that through the book I’ve now started to understand where my son’s maths issues lie and what the curriculum is requiring these days. As a result I could help him with those areas and he is now more happy and confident in class, and even claims to be one of the top-maths students.

Nice and easy for a 7 year old to not only read but understand, with adult supervision to explain some ways of doing things. I have enjoyed the time it provides for one to one time with her.

It's a useful means of passing time during the lockdown during the school Easter break. My daughter likes it and we use it every day so she doesn't forget what they've been taught at school. There are interesting problems to solve, cute pictures and the level is according to the national curriculum. Absolutely worth every penny, I'd highly recommend.
